The best deal I have been able to negotiate is around $29,000 for a Prius Advanced. I have been shopping around the Baltimore DC area. This is for a Prius Prime Advanced with door stops. The dealer discount on your deal was more than I have seen in my deals. Great price!

Just curious, when you purchased the all weather floor mats, did the dealership also give you the carpeted floor mats as well?

If my math is correct, that's $2964 below invoice..... (Invoice is about $1,324 below MSRP) I would find it unlikely for a dealer to go that low, I can't imagine there's any profit in that. The most I've seen is $800 below invoice. Not saying I don't believe you, but holy crap!

Are they trying to move old stock?? That's a crazy price. No trade-in, right?

I'm in the early stages of negotiating right now and my local dealer is at $350 off MSRP on an Advanced. I'm trying to gauge just how low below invoice I should ask for, but I can't find any solid numbers.

No - the carpeted floor mats are also an accessory, so you would have to purchase them separately. Or get the four season package. There is carpet on the floor, though!

Most all the Primes I have seen at dealers (in the northern parts of the country) come with the all weather mats+cargo tray from the factory.

    Carpeted floor mats $129
    Carpeted cargo mat $95
    Carpeted mats+cargo $224
    All weather mats $149
    All weather cargo tray $99
    All weather mats+cargo tray $248
Four Season package = carpet mats, all weather mats, carpet cargo mat $373

Good question. No, I couldn't find them in the car. They removed it and never gave me the regular one.

Which mats did the window sticker MSRP include?

Carpet mats are NOT included unless the factory threw them in the car, in which case they would be added to the MSRP.

Hi. Looking for my first Prius. In the DC area and have talked to Jim Coleman Toyota. Nice people but they just quote the Toyota rebate and don't seem willing to negotiate further. I'd love to get the info for the deal in Rhode Island. Not too far to travel for me! Perhaps Amtrak!!

on a separate note, I was so impressed with EV mode acceleration, I am doing some stop light racing on EV mode against pick up trucks and SUV's, to irritate them and show them how fast this tiny ev can be. Is this wrong? Should I stop doing this? :p

Yes, I do that sometimes. Do you notice that when the speed reach about 60 mph, the Prime suddenly goes much faster?

No I have not, will try it this evening. I think it might be to do with the readily available torque that is almost instantaneous.

That is such a great price! I've been looking at MassEnergy for a good deal (if I'm allowed to post a link, everyone let me know and I will) and they are good prices, but yours is about $1,000 less! May I ask what town the dealer is in? I sent you a message. Thanks!
