Prius Prime - official prices paid thread

I didn't think toyota dealers could place orders. They get regional allocations, which are then divided up to dealers based on dealer requests

 

All Prius Primes come from factory with PPF on all bumpers and mirror covers. You don't need a second layer.

 

They can and they do.

 

For wax, I use Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine. It lasts for more than a couple of dozen washes.

Its poor quality then..so You might not need it.. but I do. My 21 had 2 fairly significant chips on it in just a few thousand miles on it. Lots of highway driving with tons of semis here

I like the meguiars ultimate. 2x a year...but then again I don't drive my car in rain or snow so it last long

 

Bumpers are made of very soft plastic. I doubt anything can protect them against chips. I think paint-protection film protects against liquids, UV, and dust.

 

Weird, cause after applied i drove 6k+ miles with no other damage. Luck... maybe..

Plus it's pretty widely regarded as a decent defense for those who do lots of highway driving against small rock chips

 

I picked up my red '22 XLE last weekend at Ira Toyota in Danvers MA. $33.8k sticker, $12k for my '14 IV with 87k miles (which they have up for $16k now on their site). The car had just arrived and was somehow not spoken for. It's a lot more fun than my '14.

 

"We still have not been allocated the vehicle by Toyota. I can not tell you at this point when it will be in. We are still dealing with production issues across all makes and models. The Prius requires the most chips so they are not really building them that often."

I have been patiently waiting a long time. My patience is starting to wane.

Arrived safely... though very very dirty after the driver had to go though some heavy snow on his way.

Dropped it off this evening due hood and bumper xpel paint protection film. Will get tinted next.

Finally my order arrived, just finished the deal today at Holman Toyota NJ with Greg and traded in my 2021 XLE with 5000 miles:

Greg said they are not taking orders at this moment as there is a long backup. But if people are interested, they can call every 2 weeks to check if they have started to take new orders.

 

$316 out the door and $4502 federal tax credit next April, amazing.

 

Here in California, tax, registration, and fees would be at least $3,754.78.

They did charge a very high document fee, but it still beats a markup.

 

Is the $750 Uber driver incentive still active? Anyone have the updated form if so? It would seem so based on this: https://www.teamtoyota.net/incentives/md4880/ but figured someone here may have further confirmation.

 

I agree that term "TeamToyota" is extremely misleading.
"TeamToyota" is a multi-location dealership, nothing more.

Fwiw, in March, many Conn dealerships have the Uber incentive listed (I didn't check them all ).
In March, I didn't see any in Mass that had the Uber incentive listed(I did not check every Mass dealership ).
I thought that Mass dealerships had the Uber incentive listed in January. However, I may be wrong.

The Uber driver incentive is based on location.

FWIW-

You can get the UBER incentive $750 off throughout New England. I just did it last week in Mass.

just print off a copy of your driver profile showing an active status…it can take a week or two to signup, once you do your all set.

Used the extra rebates multiple times….easy just come to the dealer with the printout and your golden.

 

I've been able to use it in the past for purchasing in MA (twice even), just fining it hard for the current dealership to acknowledge it exists or even applies. I secured a Limited that's coming next week or so but sales person doesn't seem to care to look for details... I already have the active status, so thankfully that's all set.
