Did you get the CA clean fuel reward of $900.11?
If you are Uber driver, you will get another $750.
As long as your Uber account is active, you are good.

I got mine from Bill Kidds in Maryland. I would NOT recommend them. They lied to me about how uber incentive works (now I'm waiting for Toyota corp to help me correct), they lied about putting a cargo mat in, and I'm pretty sure (not 100% sure though) the car was scratched on their lot and they didn't disclose or repair. Would not recommend them

Double check with your electric utility, local county/city, and the air district (BAAQMD or similar) to see if there are any incentive programs remaining also. Seems like most of the funds have been used, but it varies by locality.

I recently (May) got a PP XLE from Heritage Toyota in Cantonsville MD. They discounted ~$1500 from MSRP + $4500 Toyota rebate without pushing very hard. Easy to deal with... just the finance guy pushing the extended warranty, protection packages, etc. I flew out and drove home. They're not too far from BWI if that matters. I'm from the Chicago area.

The $5,500 New England region rebate for a PP has been extended to now 7/6/2021. Now the question is how long there is enough inventory to continue selling 2021 PP at such a large discount, and when would the 2022 model arrive? I am still working from home, and will not be needing a daily driver at least until Sep. Should I wait or go for it now. I am also looking into the BEV option for my next daily driver. That selection may be increasing if I wait a bit longer.

That's an amazing OTD pre-trade price. What did you get for your trade in? We used Algo for a quote for our 2018 Premium Prime and dealers didn't hestate at all to match the number ($19.5) Makes me think they'd be willing to pay more.. but our state taxes on the cost after trade in so I was thrilled to save the extra $1.2K on top.

2017 Premium 53K, had an offer of 19 flat from carmax. Dealer initially matched giving them the tax benefit (19000/1.0625) of 17,800. To work the deal, they ended up upping my trade to 19 and raising the 'sale price' that included the mark down.

Wait they ate your tax benefit? That should have been yours... They matched my 19.5, and with tax benefit, my trade in savings became 20.7. Taxes are paid to the state so they wouldn't care either way...unless they pocket the savings by upping your price which if I understand correctly is what they did.

    Well they didn't take it.

We agreed on a pre-trade OTD. Then I told them what carmax offered for my trade and asked if they wanted to match. They said not the gross but they would match the net. Is that clear?

(In the final contract, they then ended up upping the car price (notionally lowering dealer discount) and upping the trade in. Not sure why and it didnt change anything on my end as the taxable amount stayed the same.)

Anyone trading in a car should first get an offer from Carvana. Their pricing is pretty crazy right now, in a good way - if you're selling.

You may also try some of the Carvana-like competitors like Vroom or Shift. Vroom gave me about $2400 for my 2011 Ford Fiesta with some not insignificant needs (the car still ran, but the gas line was messed up and the the car would stall in neutral all the time) and some less-than-appealing cosmetic booboos. In a normal market, that's probably a $1500 car.

I just bought an XLE 2 weeks ago for around the same price. However, I don't think there are any incentives left, only the tax credit.

Yeah. Besides the tax credit, the only incentive left is the Clean Fuel of $900.11
As a former Uber driver, I get $750 credit as long as your account is still active.
If you are a Veteran, you will get another $500.
A recent graduate will also get another $500.
When I first told my wife we could get a 2021 XLE Prime less than $23k after all incentives/tax credit applied, she did not believe me.
We went to the dealer, and they had our favorite color. We took the car back home in an hour ;)

Does anyone know how the uber discount works? Do you apply for it from toyota? Or does the dealer take it off the sales price?

there is one in Daly City & one in San Bruno.
Call them if they have in stock. With cash back promo & tax credits, these PP are gone pretty fast.
    Good luck

Yes, $750 Uber discount works. As long as you have Uber driver account active, that's good enough. They will take some screenshot of your phone with Uber app running. That's all.
The dealer will take $750 off from the list price.
I got the Uber discount just couple weeks ago in SF.
