Hi - They sent a driver to pick me up - no charge. Bob, the driver was awesome, and we had a super chat the entire way to Easton. Hope that helps!

2020 XLE. MSRP 30893. Sale price 28342. Rebate 1500. Adjusted price 26842. Trade in 2017 Prime Plus 20900. Difference with tags, title, difference in taxes between the two ~6800-4502=~2300 out of pocket. I was unable to take the military discount because it requires financing 7500 or more with TFS. I am very satisfied with the final price, out of pocket, and that I paid an effective price of 18800 for the 2017 after the tax credit and discount, and go 2100 above that on trade after 18 months. If Maryland replenishes the tax refunds for plug ins I should get about 450 in the mail but I’m not holding my breath.

I thought Maryland credit was $880.
Also, why would you get a Maryland state credit if you are in DC?

Maryland is up to 3000 on excise tax reimbursement (although there is a significant backlog of applications and this FY is already exhausted). I am in Maryland now and didn’t pay any taxes on the first Prime as well, since that one was bought when I lived in DC.

Wow, I wish I'd known about this site before I bought mine! I got a 2020 Prius Prime LE last week in California and paid $27500 out the door, including the $1500 Toyota rebate. I will be getting another $1500 back from California and then a $4500 federal tax credit.

Just for the SOCAL guys.. the worst pricing I got was actually from Diane. Pretty much every other dealer beat her pricing by 1k at least once they were asked. Diane never even tried to match it. For what it's worth it was a good starting point to see what invoice pricing was and start going down from there. I do believe I got the best pricing by a wide margin for the xle in socal, will share once i purchase on Friday.

Wow, that surprises me. She used to have the best prices for CA buyers. Guess she’s doing so good at her new dealership, she doesn’t have to discount as much.

When I talked to her in April, her pricing was very reasonable ;).

Could just be the 2020’s showed up and are a hot commodity (y).

Just got a 2020 XLE for $26,669 + $372 dealer fees. Check we wrote was $27,041.
Toyota of Keene, NH. I called other dealers and checked online and everyone else was $2k higher, approx. Dealer said his price was a mistake but he would honor it until closing time. $22,500 after tax credit seems like an insanely good deal for car of this quality. I don't live in NH. We live in MA. But we have a cabin in VT so stopped in at this dealer on our way home. First we test drove a Hyundai Ioniq and collected the $50 incentive for doing that. That makes the net cost of the day's car shopping $26,991. The car came with a full tank of gas, full battery. Guess I could subtract another $40 or so for that. Also a lifetime powertrain warranty.

So the dealer did not collect your MA sales tax which means you'll owe about $1,700 when you go to get your permanent license plate. I did this a couple of car purchases ago, but my most recent purchase (for my Prime) the out of state dealer collected my sales tax and forwarded it to my state. This was at a Baltimore area Toyota dealer.

P.S. I also test drove an Ioniq (top trim) prior to buying my Prime. The Ioniq is also a nice vehicle and I'm glad it's giving Toyota competition. For my money, I still felt better having the quality and track record of Toyota. I wonder if Prius will ever have a BEV variant like the Ioniq's Hybrid/PHEV/BEV lineup.

Our new 2020 Prius Prime Limited:

    MSRP: $34,904
    Dealer discount: ($968)
    Toyota rebate: ($1500)
    Total: $32,436 + $300 doc fee + TTL
    Dealer location: Baltimore area

We had decided on the Limited trim, but unfortunately there were very few (< 5) limited trim available within 500 miles of our home in the Madison, WI area. They were all full price and in colors we didn't like. Both of our local dealers told us that primes always sell for MSRP with no exceptions.

After some internet research and contacting several dealers in the northeast, I had a small pile of quotes in the $31,800 to $33,300 range. However there was only one blue one, and my wife really wanted the blue, so the decision was pretty much made. Earlier this week, I flew to Baltimore and drove this beauty back to its new home in Wisconsin (975 miles @ 65.3 MPG pretty much all interstate).
