LOL. No I didn't. Not sure why you keep arguing if you don't even know how much I paid for both silver and white?

The point is that if you paid the same for both, you either overpaid for the silver or overpaid for both. The cost of the premium paint will be somehow included in your traction. The premium paint costs more to the dealer and you and I both know the games being played.

It's the same argument that if you buy both the LE and XLE and pay the same price for both, you either overpaid for the LE or overpaid for both -- it's not that you got the XLE at a discount.

they are offering 25950 for the LE blizzard pearl + wa tax/title/registration. good deal? what would be a great deal?
I am worried that in 13 days the toyota incentive for Oregon state(unfortunately not in WA state) is getting over (30-sep) and that I might not be able to pull the plug on the incentive.
As I had mentioned before , got an LE true car offer of 24600 but when I went to toyota of portland they upsold me for 25500. should i had bought that? I walked out of the deal.

It's a decent price but a little (up to $500) on the high side. If you made up your mind, try to negotiate a few more hundred dollars and get it before the rebate goes away.

Not really since a trade was involved. You may have "paid" a lower price for their car but they lowballed you on the trade. You're not winning on both cars. That's not the business model of a car dealership.

She got quite a bit more than the Kelley Blue Book value on her trade-in though.

Hey everybody, I'm looking to upgrade from my 2012 Prius to a 2020 Prius Prime LE blue magnetism.

Koons Tysons Toyota seems to offer a better deal than I can find in North Carolina (Prime inventory in NC is super low to begin with)

Anyway, here's what they are offering me:
    MSRP 28,789
    Sales Price 26,680
    minus 1,500 rebate
    Net sales price 25,180

    add delivery 930
    processing 799
    taxes 854
    title 238

Final out the door price 28,001

I'm looking for some insight into Toyota incentives in certain states on the Prime. I have been looking at flying to New England to purchase a 2020 XLE, but I was planning to wait to see how big incentives might get in December. (truth be told, my sweetie agreeing to buy a Prime was contingent on getting an exceptional OTD price...) Now Trump says that he is getting rid of California's right to set their own emissions and fuel efficiency standards (which it is my understanding that several other states also follow). So do you think this will be the end of the big Toyota rebates on Primes?

feeling my Prime slipping through my fingers, :(

Forget incentives - once Trump defeats CA, demand for Primes will skyrocket and you'll be lucky to snatch it at MSRP.

First of all good luck with your purchase! You will be very happy when you get your Prius Prime! I am very lucky to have purchased one two weeks ago.

The total would be a fair price but find out why the sales tax is so low. You may be charged additional sales tax in North Carolina.

Moreover, what Koons is doing with the way they are listing their prices is not fair marketing. I don't know any other dealer listing the delivery fee separately on top of the MSRP and charging such a huge processing fee. I warned about this in a previous post of mine. Read Krystal Koons' fineprint.

Thanks for the feedback, Ganesh and Gokahn. I know the dealer does some markup with the MSRP so they can say they are taking off $2000 for a dealer's sale.
I also think the $799 processing fee is a little excessive but my local dealer in North Carolina does a $599 doc fee.

Ultimately Koons Toyota offer is $2400 better (this includes the $1500 rebate) than what I was offered locally from Rice Toyota in Greensboro, NC ($30,443 OTD). I did not try to negotiate with Rice Toyota because I didn't believe they could come down $2400.

I will check on the taxes. I know NC is 3% on new vehicles and was 883 in my NC offer, so maybe I have to pay 30ish more?

Also my local dealer was separating their MSRP from the delivery and processing fee. (Image is just an example)

    Hi all,

Got a quote for 2020 Prius Prime Limited: $32K (including the $1500 discount), plus TTL is $35K OTD.

SoCal dealership. Costco pricing, cannot negotiate further.

Stocks are super limited as most dealers are still waiting for Limited trims, cannot even choose color. Not sure if I should proceed.

That's a great price for the Limited. The rebate will go away soon. If you are OK with the color, get it.

Thanks for the reply. So the rebate is definitely not continuing?
