I'm real familiar with US Toyota Dealerships, their owners and Regions. Perhaps as you said...this is a USAA Financial Services thing. There are actually 13 Regions if you count Hawaii that set regional deals, but individual and group ownerships set the final prices. Good luck with your new car. ;)

I know the Costco auto program is similar;).

But we used the price we would have got from that program for our Prime and shopped it to dealers closer to us, and they matched it:).

Justs one way to use the program to your advantage (y).

Just for other's information, Sam's has an auto program, too. Sam's partners with TrueCar on theirs, I believe. I bought my last car via TrueCar and the shopping experience was very nice. For whatever reason, I chose to go it alone and manually shop via the internet (with some help locating the right dealers with CarGurus). Maybe because I live in a state with zero Toyota discounts and I figured TrueCar would ask you for your ZIP and contact local dealers which would be totally unhelpful. I don't remember exactly because it was 2011 the last time I did that. That is a great suggestion to use them or other auto buying networks (USAA, etc) to tell dealers they need to beat it. It can't hurt. I mainly looked here and used it as a judge for what price to target before TTL. I know I got a good deal and I thank you all for helping me.

And, thanks Roy, for the feedback on that Subaru Forester XL that you had last with a 0-60 of 6.5 sec. Great to hear your insurance went down $500! Sounds very consistent with what I saw when I realized a Chevy Bolt was going to cost me quite a bit more than a Prime.

    2018 Prius prime
    Msrp $34,650
Dealer price after add ons $36,141
    Price I negotiated $32,999
Price after taxes and crap $35,499
Texas had a $2500 incentive for electric cars
    And Feds $4500

    So bottom line $28,499

$1000 Toyota cash back seems to be in many states through September 3. Some New England dealers are offering further discounts. Check CarGurus.com

In CT here (but bought in MA, just over the line). I got almost $1000 off MSRP on my 2020 Prime Limited. Then $1000 rebate.

2020 Prius Prime XLE Blue Magnetism

    [Colorado]

MSRP - $30988 (with roof racks)
    Discount - $1763
    Dealer Fees - $626
    Taxes - $2500
Nano Glass - $899 ( Could've negotiated more on this or not bought this, but with my recent experience on other cars, thought this was worth it. 5 years repair/replace of windshield along with camera calibration)
    OTD - $33250

Now to get that sweet 4500 + 5000 in tax rebates!

I bought my 2017 in NY to receive about $4500 from Toyota and dealer. Registered it in CO for $5000, and standard $4500 from feds. Total savings about $14,000

I should've gotten my car in CO and drive it back to Cali. That rebate is sweet!

To get the CO rebate do you have to register the vehicle in CO meaning you need to live there and have an address?
Sorry, not sure how that works...

True. I have a cousin who lives in Boulder! But then again... You're right, too much of a hassle.

I'm sure most people living in CO already know this but if anybody is waiting to get a Prime early next year, do factor in the 1k less in tax credits.

Couldnt post hyperlink as I'm too new in this forum

Yes, credit is for CO residents. In 2017, when I bought, Primes weren't readily available in CO
