No utility rebates in CT. There is a $500 state income tax credit, but I bought my car in MA which makes it ineligible. However the dealer gave me an extra $500 on my trade-in to offset it. Otherwise they would have lost the sale.

I've been looking too, but I think I'm going to wait until Toyotathon in December now. Not enough Advanced 2019 left (I think there's a red one in Owings Mills?), so even though I'd prefer to have the 4-seat, I'll probably end up getting the 2020 Limited instead. I just wish the state would expand the tax credit, it was all claimed this year before it was even officially available!

I got the $1000 reduction at a dealer in New Jersey last week: 2020 Prime Limited.

They did have a $2500 state rebate that ended in April. Even then, there was no Toyota rebate for the region so it would be much cheaper to buy it from other regions that had up to $5000 rebate. Maybe TX will do the $2500 rebate again in 2 years.

Y'all are really making me consider flying out to California to pick up one of these cars... I'm about to move to Utah, so the drive would only take around 10 hours to go back home. It looks like I could pick up a 2019 Plus for $24K (pre-TTF and any tax credits ), a savings of around $3.5K, enough to easily recoup the cost of the flight and a hotel.

I just picked up a 2019 Prius Prime Premium yesterday. I wanted one in Blizzard Pearl but none were available to be transferred (none in the area at all).

    This includes:
    - Body molding
    - Door edge guards
    - Alarm system (dealer MSRP $1,295)
    - All weather mats + carpets (both)
    - Tinting (worth $200-250)

    - 2019 Prime Premium in Silver
    - MSRP $30,661
    - -$3,500 Toyota Rebate plus dealer markdowns
    - Sale price $25,613.92 if my math is right
    - OTD $28,000 including CA tax 7.75% and DMV fees $401
    - Toyota of Orange, California

The dealer wanted $29,600 OTD for this car, I wanted $27,000 OTD. After some haggling they offered $28,300 which I rejected and raised my offer to $27,500. They offered to give me the alarm system for “free” (it really costs the dealer $400 before labor costs) for $28,000 OTD and I accepted. I was a little concerned since the 2019 inventory is dropping quickly except for colors like Titanium Glow.

The car was delivered to the dealer 61 days ago, and has never even had anyone test drive it.

This sounds about right to me for Califorina prices right now. Good work. I got a Blue Magnetism Premium in Maryland last week where prices OTD run ~$1,000 more than the west coast / near port of entry. I echo your feelings on remaining '19s, as well. It seems the trick for dealers is to find that unique buyer looking for these vehicles. If I hadn't done my own research, I doubt I would have known they existed. Prius, yes...but some people are shopping specifically for PHEV's and just don't know about this one. That's not good considering this car is on its 4th model year. No advertising to speak of that I came across. Red and Blue are getting scarce. White isn't far behind. If anyone is waiting until December to maximize their savings, I would expect to be buying Silver if you can locate a '19 at that point. I am a bargain shopper, myself, so I get it. For some reason, when it comes to cars, I always seem to get stuck on wanting a particular color for some reason. It varies by car, too. Something just spoke to me about the Blue on this one. It looks better in person than in pictures, too. (y) Welcome to the family and enjoy those massive tax credits and utility rebates most of us non-Californians can only dream about!

We got a Prime last week.

    -Silver 2019 Prius Prime Plus
    -MSRP $27,350
    -$3,500 current rebate
    -$22,780 selling price
    -$25,800 OTD. I think tax was 9.50%

Apparently, this was the last Plus model they had, but when we were there they still had 2019 Premiums.

Southern California dealers at least have not been promoting the Prius Prime at all. I was shocked the Premium I purchased had not even been test driven. Toyota of Orange’s ownership is very stiff on dealer incentives. If a manager we purchased from in the past didn’t move there from Huntington Beach we probably wouldn’t give them our business.

Btw I was given an OTD quote for a Plus two weeks ago for $26,700. That was before the $3,500 Toyota rebate though. The rebate was $1,500 at that time IIRC.

Tbh our main pick was a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid XSE, but Toyota really dropped the ball on releasing them quite late. We had been waiting since last September. Then when they were released the markups were insane ($5,000-10,000), with people still buying the XSE with markup. I was going to settle for a RAV4 Hybrid Limited as it’s basically the same price and dealers will sell them for MSRP. I haggled a bit too hard I guess. The MSRP with options I wanted was $42,000 but I wanted it for $39,000 OTD. The dealer eventually kept dropping their offer, ending up at $41,000, but I wanted to wait a bit longer and another buyer paid MSRP + tags + tax for it. Oh well, they’ll be cheaper next year.

Has anyone received the $3,500 manufacturer's rebate (from Toyota) on a leased 2019 Prius Prime (rather than purchased)?

no, they build it into the lease price. the leasing company is the owner, and only the owner can get the rebate
    same with the tax credit

On a lease the leasing company receives all the rebates unless there is a specific cash back incentive for the lease. I usually just buy cars outright except for my vehicle for the business which is on lease because from the financial perspective it just doesn’t make sense to do a personal lease.

We just got a Prime PLUS so wanted to share my numbers with everyone:

    -Silver 2019 Prius Prime PLUS
-MSRP $28,961 (door molding, all weather mats, edge guards - these just came with the vehicle, not requested)
    -$3,500 Manuf rebate
    -$25,250 OTD
    Tax rate here - 7.75%
    - Orange

Will start working on the rest of the rebates out there for an additional $7k that would bring the price down to $18,250 total.
    Good luck out there.

Almost got a Premium but got a better deal on the PLUS.

The other 2 above didn't read your question. You'll have to check with the dealer on that. Usually the cash rebate is not for lease.

I’m back to the Prius (prime)! Going from the 2010 to 2014 forester XT back to the Prius prime, the power isn’t that bad compared to the 2010.

    -Black 2020 Prius Prime XLE
    -MSRP $30,455
-$28,787 selling price minus dmv fees
    -$31,550 OTD. I think tax was 7.75%
    -Anaheim Miller Toyota

They offered the 2019 in grey for $28,800 OTD, but Black and CarPlay was the deal breaker for me to go from the 2019 to the 2020.
