I did Costco auto and got a written quote from the recommended dealer for 500 under invoice. I'm awaiting delivery.

Selling my 2 prii with Costco bargains + state and federal + Toyota cash discount + low income (state) the car should cost me just delivery, tax and DMV BS All very hypothetical. + my green stickers, I'll probably make money on the deal.

Yes, my wife cannot drive anymore so I don't need 2 cars. I'll sell the two I have, get the Prime and start anew with another tax write off for year 2017. Does anybody know the assured applicability of the write off based on the 200000 units sold rule? What is the # Toyotas up to now? (Hybrids)

Get my 1000 back from Tesla. The concept is great but new price is too much and nothing is really confirmed yet. In shopping around I have noticed that many prices are as expensive or more, as the Prime ( comparing hybrids and BEVs)

It will be at least a couple years before Toyota his their 200k limit and then phase out. They are still well under 100k.

I'll search it out, good idea, contacting Dianne. The salesman I'm dealing with now did not even know there was a state and Fed benefit! The Primes were stacked in the back of the lot, difficult to get out, so I put off the test drive til today. He told me nobody ever asks about them. Good, lower demand = lower price! I'll bet the batteries down on the car this morning.

I haven't seen anything on the different models. Can anybody help me out? I'm looking for the simplest. CC and GPS are all I need.

Similar problem here in the Roseville/Rocklin area. I brought in my Plug-in Prius a couple weeks ago for the side air bag recall and decided to take a Prime for a test drive. They have been selling them within 3-4 days of getting any deliveries, so it's not a demand problem, but they didn't even have one on their main lot. They drove me to a separate lot and took a while to find their remaining one in the back. Yep, no charge on the battery as you suspected in your case.

Would hope you have better luck in Sacramento proper where one would think plug-in consciousness would be elevated being the Capitol that writes our plug-in legislation and more plug-ins abound.

If you don't need other bells-and-whistles, the lowest trim "plus" package is probably for you.

look at the prime forum page, and tidelands sticky on visual tables.

stick them in the back of the lot, then wonder why there's no interest. huh, it's almost like they no nothing about selling cars.

the odd thing is, john 1701 said toyota was going to make a major education effort with dealers.(n)

Bought my Prime yesterday, $29,839, finance guy tells me I got a hell of a deal! Did I? This price includes everything. He tells me the dealer lost over 400, I don't believe it. Model is PRIUS PLUS.

congrats! depends on what price you are quoting. the base is 28k including destination charge.
there's a 1k rebate for cash, so they net at 27k. then there's options, fees, tax, and etc.
    all the best, i'm jealous!(y)
