    I will be keeping a close eye on the development of the plug-in. My major concern is cold weather performance. Even at a balmy 25deg (-4C), the reviewer reports that the ICE ran about half of the time. I fear that at more typical Canadian prairie winters, it would behave much like a conventional Prius. OTOH, electricity is dirt cheap here. My last bill works out to 7.8cents/Kwh including tax, various charges.

    I am excited about it, though I probably cannot afford it.

    GA Power has an after 11pm rate of 1.2c per kwh for electric car owners with a $9 charge a month on top so this car would do me and my 9mi commute wonders. I would only get 1 way on nothing but really I could burn a gallon a week going to work on less than 25c of electricity.
