I would like to bring my dog along for rides and don't want the seats to get dirty. Also concerned about how hot they will get in the summer. Wish I could have gotten the Advanced package with cloth seats but it wasn't offered that way.

I was waiting to get a chance to wash my car before putting on the mudflaps.
The front goes on pretty easily, but the rear pair is a bit tricky to put on because the tire is in a way to screw on the mudflaps. I would prefer not to puncture holes along the edge, but that seems unavoidable.

Anyone figure out a clever way to put the rear mudflaps on without removing the tire? Even my dremel tool is too large to fit to drill a hole straight on.

The screws are self-tapping, so there's no need to pre-drill holes. You should be able to fit a right-angle screwdriver without taking the rear tire off.

The speed lock override kit works with the pip? If I purchase the best kit it also allows me to use the CD slot to play DVDs while moving? Is that correct? If so that's a good deal. I read that there was another company supplying a product that would do all of that for $300, double the price of this one...

I'm interested in the illuminated door sills, does anyone know if they make them with the plugin logo? The ones in the PC shop appear ro have the regular HSD logo and fit 2010-2012.

I got the carpet mats and bumper protector from Danny .... love 'em. They're perfect and I was especially impressed with how well the bumper protector fit.

I didn't want to wait for the cargo area mat, either all weather or carpeted which I prefer, so I went to Walmart and bought a cheapie ($15) all weather mat. I was supposed to cut to fit but after just making one cut and realizing if I left it as it was after that single cut, it would give more protection from our suitcases. (We travel a lot.) Pic showing the fit of the cheapie .... and I'm happy.

I just wanted to say I got the speedlock override and love it...mine is a BASE model but it does allow for picture slideshows on my base model while in motion....along with all the other greyed out things, love it!

The Charging cable "brick" hasa li'l hole in one corner, perfect for a mid-size Zip-Tie. Then the brick can often be hung on anything close to the plugged-in receptacle, including metal conduit piping, electrical boxes, etc.

I have a question regarding the cargo liner for the Prius Plugin. Weathertech indicated that they currently do not have a floor liner for the 2012 Prius Plugin, but the Prius Chat Shop appears to offer the liner, is there a reason for this discrepancy?

is the prius chat shop a weathertech or toyota? if weathertech, perhaps danny didn't realize the hatch floor is slightly different. people are buying them tho, search the threads. the biggest issue is getting into the small storage space.

If Danny carried new spare tires and wheels for the PiP, I'd buy one.

I have been trying to confirm the 2010-2013 Weathertech Toyota Prius Side Window Deflectors [W2482504]
which show up in the 2010+ Prius section, but don't show up in the Plug-in section fit. I have emailed Weathertech to get confirmation but have received no reply. I see no reason why they wouldn't, but i don't want to buy them and find out they don't. When I didn't see them listed in the Shop, it raised the question.

    TIA
