Absolutely! As a new Prius owner, I'm truly a motorcycle owner. I currently have a 2001 H-D Road King, and a brand new 2006 Buell XB12cg. The Buell is my 87th motorcycle (this total includes the multitudes of dirt bikes I had years ago). I'm a year-round rider, thanks to Florida weather.

Ok, my bikes barely qualify, but I've liked 'em all.

As a kid, Honda 50 Mini Trail, then XR185.
As a 19yr old, Honda VTR250 (have the scars for show and tell time).

Now, a 1979 XL185S with 251 original miles on it (birthday present from my wife). The bike is mint, except the inevitable gummed up carb I am currently rebuilding. I've got two kids now, so no interest in going far/fast, just puttering around the country roads and up into the woods next to my property.

At a minimum I wear jeans, long sleeves unless going 1 mile or less, helmet, gloves and goggles if heading into the woods.

Yes, There's nothing like an HD. I have most all of the popular options, plus the Stage 1 modifications. When we had the 3 'canes come through here I rolled my Sporty into house by the pool table. We do have a safe garage, but- Hey! As far as I am concerned the Harley is family so it came in the family room with us. Do you have a 1200 or a bigger Hog with 1340+ CC?

Okay, Not into motorcycles myself but no one (MS this is for you) has mentioned the MTT Turbine Superbike One of the Leno collection among others. Street Legal, 300 hp Rolls Royce Allison turbine designed for a 10,000 lbs. Bell Heliocopter. 425 foot-pounds of torque. Top clocked speed of 227 mph

Of course it only gets 4-5 mpg

    I currently have a '05 Suzuki V-Strom 650, a '78 Yamaha DT 250 2 stroke enduro, plus an '01 Honda XR100 and an '04 Honda CRF 70 for my sons.

Been riding bikes since 1972. There is nothing on 4 wheels that comes even close to the thrills and adrenalin rush of carving the corners up in the mountains on 2 wheels. It is, by far, the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Bigger is not always better... As all of us Prius enthusiasts know, a smartly designed efficient package in a sufficient size delivers above expectation time and time again...

I have a Suzuki Burgman 650... no shifting with the eCVT, a respectable 45-50 mpg, loads of trunk space under the seat (55 liters), and another generous amount in the added top box (46 liters). No little fender pad accommodation for the passenger on the Burger... full sized seat with comfortable floor boards. And a surprisingly adequate performer... have surprised many bikes who somehow always look a little disdainful when a 'scooter' just passed them...

    87 Yamaha Virago limited 1100.

Don't ride it anymore though and it's collecting dust in the garage.
I'm either dropping the kids off before work, picking them after, or the weather is bad. I've stopped trying.

Anyone interested in a nice looking Virago for cheap?

Speaking of ATV. I'm not a big fan of riding them recreationally, but as a utilitarian tool, they can't be beat for hunting. I have a 6 wheel amphibious Argo that is an amazing hunting vehicle. I've used if for getting deer out of mucky swamps, getting accross the lake to my duck blind, and even for fishing.

I have owned a number of motorcycles (in chronological order: 1969 Hodaka Ace 100, 1971 Hodaka Super Rat, 1987 Kawasaki GPz 305, 1991 Kawasaki Zephyr 550, 1993 BMW R100GS, 1997 BMW F650, and 2001 Kawasaki W650). Now I ride the 2005 Yamaha Majesty 400 maxi-scooter shown below. Do motor scooters count in your survey?

It has 2 wheels and it isn't just an ordinary scooter.

I have had in the past: -
    Yamaha DT100A (first vehicle ever)
    Honda CB250T (First new vehicle)
    Yamaha DT175H (second new bike)
    Honda CB350/4 (most fun)
Honda CB250T (gift from my brother)
    Honda CX500C (great all rounder)

    Bike I currently ride: -
    2006 Hyosung GV650L

This is a realatively unknown brand. It is made in South Korea by a very big company in South Korea. Hyosung may have made the textiles in your tyres or the fabric your clothes are made from.
Hyosung Machinery are a division of Hyosung and make generators and control units among other hi tech stuff.
Hyosung Motors was born as a division of Hyosung Machinery and started out building small displacement bikes under the Suzuki brand for the Asian market.
Hyosung are in the top 10 for motorcycle sales by manufacturers in the Australian market. My bikes smaller cousin the GT250 is the biggest selling bike in the under 260cc segment to private buyers in Australia.
The GV650 has a 650cc 90 degree vee twin engine pumping 72hp through a 5 speed box then via a toothed belt to the rear wheel

Last weekend I rode it along with a friend on his GV650 to Broken Hill and back with camping gear, a round trip of about 1200km.

Last time I rode it was this afternoon coming home from work.
My longest trip was 5000km round trip to Coffs Harbour towing a trailer full if proper camping gear like a big tent table chairs etc, back in May 07.

My highest speed so far: - 178km/h the bike had more but I wanted to back off.
