I am using a digital tire gauge,

    Merged. Use multi quote. Please.

Actually, they just had to read the drivers side door jamb, Are you sure yours is 39/32? 32 sounds awfully low. I thought Eco was 39/36.

Checked my tires after the first two months. They were in the mid 50 psi range. Apparently they ship that way and the dealer prep did not catch it.

^ Talk to the service manager about that. You might get some freebies, well, not exactly free: you paid for the dad-blamed Pre-Deliver Inspection, and didn't get it.

One take away: whenever your car's been into the dealership, it's a good idea to check things over after, before you leave the lot:

    1. Tire valve caps present?
    2. Bleed screw caps present? (after brake fluid change)
    3. Brakes feel ok (after brake fluid change, yes: bad things happen.)
    4. Tire pressures where you like them?
    5. Oil level ok?
    6. Maintenance reminder reset?
    7. Hood prop bar back in it's clip properly?
    8. Engine underpanel secure and all clips/bolts present and installed properly?

Most of the above is stuff I've caught over the years.

interesting subject. I notice there are many varying opinions about tire pressure. I have found it unnecessary to deviate from the factory recommended psi level.
I keep my tires at the specified level as per the sticker on the door jam. Ride is very comfortable on most all roads. gas mileage is superior, coming in at 60-64 mpg in urban areas.

Edit to add, The factory tires that come on the Prius two eco-model, can also be found on many basic two and basic three models. My three has the same tires as a coworker's two eco-model. Toyo. I find them to be excellent tires, so far. no complaints.
