Prius Dead After Sitting 1 week

I spoke with Bernard yesterday after driving the car for a bit I returned home and checked the battery voltage and it was reading 12.4. He suggested I check it in the morning. I did this morning and it registered 12V. I left the screen on and drive around to find it at 13.9:



After returning from the gym and my hour long workout it read 11.4:



Is this the sign of a battery on its last leg?

 

Yes, replace your 12 volt battery. Its toast.

 

Yes, it's a goner. But just to clarify, unless you've attached it to a smart charger (like BatteryMinder or similar) it hasn't been fully recharged since the jump. Just driving around for a while won't do it. But for anything other than idle curiosity (which I can never escape myself) I wouldn't bother at this point. Just replace it.

Battery replaced! I actually drove out to elearnaid since it is only 20 miles from me. I also do not have the tools, so Bernard swapped the battery for me (for a small fee). Well worth it! I will make sure all my friends with Prius' contact elearnaid! Bernard is a really nice guy!!!
