Very distressing and the shield is intact.

So many G2's getting hit in my town I couldn't spend anymore time worrying about it happening to my wife while she was out and about.
If they cant clip it right there in the parking lot they follow you home to get it later. Scary. So I sold my G2. Neighbor down the street sold his a few months later.

Just not worth it owning a car that attracts that kind of desperate person.

Sad metaphor for the other crime problems in the country lately.

Yesterday when I got off work I had a "noise problem" with my car followed by check engine light after a couple blocks of driving. Took the time to investigate after I got home; my catalytic converter was in fact stolen. My car is a gen 3 prius

I see a YouTube video depicting a gen 2 Prius and suggesting you can just bolt the thing on, no weld required. Hmmm...
My part, bought from eBay and shipping from a city ~80 miles from here, should be arriving in less than 4 days

Unfortunately, it will need to be welded in. There is not enough of a stub for it to be clamped on.

Let us not forget the only company to sell CARB approved catalytic converters.

Magnaflow, pricey but they do have them quicker than OEM will.

They sell out fast so you have to jump on them.
