it's just clear lense there. It is possible to putting bulbs in there and light it up. If you look inside the engine bay, you will see there's covered holes that may be able to house something.

I've had the 2015 Prius C (what the US calls "2" level) since June. (Traded in a 2008 Yaris that never gave me any grief.) For purely coincidental reasons, I've had to drive from PEI to New Hampshire twice, and to Ottawa and back to PEI, so since June I've put just over 12,000 km on it. I installed an aftermarket backup camera with a friend while down in the USA (since one cannot buy that particular camera here in Canada), and with that, the upgrade level is just fine for me (no need for a Moonroof).

I'm 6'2" and just under 200 lbs. and I don't have a complaint about space (as a driver or front passenger) or about "long ride" comfort. (Where here 8.5 hours of straight driving means "long ride.")

The average L/100km over the life of the car has been 4.8. PEI has a lot of rolling hill type roads. "In the city" doesn't really mean much here -- it's a rural province. But my commute the Charlottetown typically falls within the "city" gas usage parameters. (Again -- the lifetime average is 4.8L/100km.)

To date, my only "issue" has been that I want an affordable roof rack to put a Thule box on, and I'm told that I'm looking at between $400 and $500 for that. Not wanting to go against the wisdom -- I don't want to put the wrong rack on and wreck anything -- so I'll have to fork out the bucks for the proper rack, I guess.

As for color -- well -- Tangerine Splash. Love it. Will it "date" well? Hey -- if it's good enough for a Mustang. ;-)

(As for loud -- I was used to the Yaris -- so I'd say "not really" and maybe "less so when waiting for the light to change since it's pretty much dead quiet then.")
