    Very true, it's just when I see the Prius at only 27mpg it doesn't make me feel as good about the purchase. I know other cars only get like 15 but still

    Remember to take a 'big picture' view of your mileage - base of the hill to base of the hill. The hybrid is earning back some of the low MPG going up with regen coming down. Without regen, it all becomes heat in a normal car.
