Prime in the wild.

Spotted a gray Prime westbound I30 in Grand Prairie on 5/29 7:55 AM. There's more Primes in Dallas than I thought.

Finally, today: saw a prime, on the road. White.

 

Yes if the second Prime was parked from the rear. Lol.

 

Finally saw another prime in the wild at a local restaurant... Had a nice chat with the couple driving it... Gray metallic advanced in Rolling Meadows, Illinois...

 

You know how we can solve all these "I still haven't seen another Prime" stories, is to just all meet up somewhere.

I live in a small town with ~5000 people, but somehow regional Corvette Club have gathering once or twice a year at our town. On that day entire town streets are crowded with Corvette. Is there similar Prius Club gathering anywhere?

 

Prii gatherings might only happen in California, if it is still a thing.

 

Maybe do some regional meetups. Like Northeast Southeast etc. kind of the like the NCAA college basketball tournament. Lol

 

We have a few nice coffeeshop locations here in Minnesota for that. Hopefully, we'll be able to start meetups soonish too.

My wife had 2 sightings of other Prime here yesterday.

 

I bought my Prime almost two months ago, and I finally saw my first Prime in the wild yesterday. It was parked in the same lot as the dry cleaners I use in Schaumburg, IL.

 

I've finally seen another Prime other than my own! Was up in Plano mid to late afternoon this past Saturday at a Dairy Queen and there she was in all her beauty... a red Prime sitting there in the parking lot. I got all excited and scared everyone else in my car when I shouted "Another Prime!". lol They all thought I said something about a crime going on. It is a crime there are not more of these on the road!

 

That's probably the same one I saw a couple weeks ago in Richardson. I haven't seen a blue one in that area so I'll keep an eye out for you. How long have you had yours? I started seeing them a couple weeks after I bought mine.

 

In a few weeks my Prime will be a year old. Can't remember the exact date but it was around the end of June. Also, I live about an hour south of Dallas and don't get up to the DFW area very often so it's doubtful anyone here will ever see my car out in the wild. lol

 

I was also like you at first, but since I have seen so many now, it is less of a wonderment. I have yet to make any eye contact with said prime drivers, however. It would be cool to just give each other the “nod” of acknowledgement. Lol.

 

Spotted a white Prime Advanced on I20 West and 360 today at 8:00. It was following behind me for about 5 minutes and exited. I think she eating and didn't noticed me at first. I wondered if she noticed when she was right behind me.

 

Score two more... the first in Blue Magnetism in the parking area of a senior housing complex in Albany, New York where I was visiting an old friend at the end of May:



And the second, in Magnetic Gray (like my own) the parking garage at Atlantic Wharf in Boston earlier this week:



Pretty soon I'm going to lose count.
