I found two PRIMEs beside mine on my work parking lot, but without any charge station at work or nearby, we do not congregate like urban PRIMEs.
See more and more every day. At least 6 now. Seems like the blue is the most popular color, although I’m personally biased with my hypersonic red. Sexy!
Spotted, parked one block from my condo: silver Prime, black interior, parking ticket. Loved the color combo! I’ve now seen every color in person.
With the long holiday weekend upon us and lots of people hitting the highways, there should be some PRIME sightings this next 3 days. Keep a lookout, keep safe, and PRIME On.
I bet you haven’t seen an orange wrapped one . Was passed by one of those today. It was a company car for a landscaping outfit. It got my attention .
We went to look at a house in Morongo Valley last weekend. There was another couple who had just finished looking at the house and they were in a blue Prime. (Unfortunately we were in my wife's V because we had to drive some rocky roads so there was no Prime Confluence. They didn't live locally but were from the LA megalopolis. P.S.-- we bought the house.
No, they were to roads to houses we didn't buy. This one is dirt, but well--graded. My biggest problem so far has been paved parking lots roads with steeply angled curb-cuts..
OK, I am reporting in. My report reads as follows... I still have not spotted another Prime, and almost one year since I got mine. I swear when I do finally see another, I'll spot three at once, or something like that.
About a year into owning mine, I saw my first one. The next day I saw two..now I havent seen one in months. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I was surprised to see two today in Dallas. It's a rare sighting since there's only 15 for sale in this area without any state or Toyota incentives. I saw a white one in the HOV lane at 75/Arapaho at 1:00 PM and 3 minutes later a red one at Beltline/Greenville.
Just got back from a tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright signature homes in southwest Pennsylvania. Prime got an almost 1000 mike workout. A few of my findings: The prime sucks up gas when you take it for extended highway speeds more than expected. It really sucks up gas when using power mode climbing hills! Lol. Adaptive cruise control is frickin amazing. Works flawlessly. Set the LDA to high sensitivity and it gently steers the car back to the middle of the lane before shouting at you to hold the wheel. Finally, does anyone know how many miles our primes have to run down to before the “low on fuel” indicator turns on? I get a bit nervous when I get down to around 40 miles, but when I fill back up, only get around a little more than 9 gallons. Thanks all and keep priming!
Mine came on at about 32 miles until empty. About 25 miles later, the display changes to ----. I drove another 25 miles and filled up. It took 10.5 gallons including 0.2 gal after the pump clicked off. I think the manual says the light will come on with 1.7 gallons left. That seems to be about right with what I'm seeing.
The day we bought ours we saw about 30 others in all assorted colors and trim. None were at the dealership. (But they were at the enterprise lot the dealership uses to store extra cars.) Ok. On a more serious note, I tend to see about 3-7 primes a week. Only seen a few silver, 3 white, 1 red, a gray, and 1 blue/green. They seem to be popping up more and more. I still see more primes than I do smarts in the wild. 3 years owning and I still can count on finger and toes. Have yet to see an electric on the road. iPad ?
