Second sighting in Houston! Roughly at I-10 West and Kirkwood during heavy morning traffic. Me - Magnetic Gray turned yellow from all of the pollen You - Blizzard Pearl with roof rack
One of my sisters lives in your neck of the woods. I now live near the Toyota North America mothership (I don't work there, though). I got a screaming deal from Steve Robbins in the internet sales department. Nice guy, honest and forthright. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I pulled out of my edition this morning onto the main 4 lane surface street into traffic and another white prime drives right past me. Very easy to confirm by looking at the back end. If traffic would have let me, I'd have turned around. Man, just 4 blocks from my house.
OK, I know you're just going to call me a smart aleck Californian, but yesterday, March 8, 2018, I saw 3 Primes! So some of you'll say, so what! Two of them were my color, Titanium Glow! How cool is that!? Sad thing is, I think car nuts are dying out. None of the sighted cars' drivers saw me, waving, honking, flashing lights! One of the Titanium Glow Primes, was next to me, in front of me, behind me; he had those stupid earbud implants, surgically attached I'm sure, and was a Millennialish looking guy, near the Disneyland resort area. If he had spotted me, he probably would have thought that I was some kind of Waving, Screaming Martian Strobe Monster!! He had to be a nerd; his Prime was DIRTY! Come on Dude, it's too easy to keep a car clean here in Socal, land of the parched throat!! I'm going to make a call to Prime Central and have the turkey's car repo'd!!Where are my fellow Prime lunatics on this!!?? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app. AChoiredTaste.com
OK, you're a smart aleck Californian. j/k There, do you feel better now? I was in Santa Monica/Pasadena over new years and saw three total. I was expecting them to be like ants based on how you guys talk about them. Nothing on the 405 or near LA Live. I expected to see guys on horse back herding them in groups. Well . . . you did just legalize that weed stuff at the beginning of the year. They thought it was just normal. . . .
I'm in Orange County; I see 1 or 2 Primes every day. You know, I've never been stoned or drunk in my life, and I've been in music, center of stoners, since the '60s!! Now if was going to be stupid and do dope, I wouldn't mess around with kiddy stuff, just go for heroin, meth, or crack; don't go halfway!! Why do you think they call it DOPE! All my shenanigans I do, au naturel; no dope required! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app. AChoiredTaste.com
The sad thing, is that they were apparently not that aware of their surroundings; no wonder there are so many accidents (from distracted driving). Posted via the PriusChat mobile app. AChoiredTaste.com
And today I saw my third (two in three days!) So far for desert Primes: A silver one in Apple Valley A white one in Yucca Valley A Blue Mag in Catherdal City And for NONE of them was I in my prime! I have to get over my fear of using gas and take it on longer trips. My wife drove it 120 miles in a day last week and EV/hybrid combined got 67 mpg
Saw another blue mag today in Yucca Valley. That's three (plus mine) in a region of only 70K people (but it is a tourist area and most of the ones I've seen have been on weekends).
Well, I finally spotted one this morning that was definitely not a repeat. The other/s was/were white, so not sure. This one was red. I was out for a walk and it went past too quickly to try to get a picture. It was from out of state, but I couldn't tell more than that because another car blocked my view. What was an out of state Prime doing driving through our little neighborhood? Kind of makes me curious. {edit to fix a typo that must have been very confusing}
My Prime will be in your state in about a month, so that will be one more out of state Prime in FL. Curious and getting curiouser.
Awesome! Have a great trip. Where are you headed, if I may ask? (Or even if I may not ask since I just did. )
Is yours a blue mag? I lived in MV when I bought my Prime but had to (temporarily I hope) relocate to Yucca.
Well, I am no longer the only Prime owner in Wyoming - I saw one on the way to work. New car, still had temp tags on it, in the blue color.
I just now saw a Blue Prime about 1/2 mile from my house. I'd never seen a blue one anywhere so it's a first. Very different in person. We were facing each other at a stop light. He didn't notice me but those 4 LED headlights were obvious. That's three within 1 mile of my house. Must be "Prime" territory.
