I'm sure they'll say.. "we don't know, Toyota won't tell us...but how 'bout this '18 Prime Premium over here!"
The dealership I went to had a list of when they were getting one or two in about a month before it actually arrived so go ahead and ask Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Should be interesting to see how much those foriegn cars cost since the Trump tariffs Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Ha, saw my 3rd Prime today. All 3 I have seen have been in my little 8000 people town. Today the 3rd sighting passed me on main street. It happened so fast I did not see the plate. Same color as mine. Gees, this is getting old hat. After (3) I almost did not even post about it.
First sighting that wasn't a a drive-by... Me on the right in gray, fellow early voter in white on the left.
Followed a Grey 2017 (I believe from the green stickers) prime [advanced?] with custom plates along the lines of “badtoy” for a few miles today in the Bay Area. Was in the white prime advanced. iPad ? (Edited for brain fart. Was going to pick up my other car so was actually in the Prime.)
I was in front of another red Prime at a stop light. I looked in my mirror to see a car pulling up and thought it was a Corolla since there's not many Primes around here. He waved at me and I waved back. Then I gave him a thumbs up and he did the same.
Had my first 3-way today. It was a Prime sandwich, side-by-side... Blue, Red, Blue. I wasn't expecting to encounter 2 other owners randomly on the road like that, here in a region where there have only been a handful offered at random dealers still. Production & Supply will pick up, especially if there are midcycle updates on the way (as the inventory and timing with the regular Prius updates strongly suggests). There was the obvious wait for tax-credit fallout too. It has been pretty lonely otherwise. We're still on the early side of history. It's like the Classic model all over again.
I’m visiting an old friend in NC and drove behind one in Cary. My friend couldn’t understanding I was so excited.
I saw TWO in one day Friday! That's a first for me. One was a match for my bue; passed me to make a left turn in Yucca Valley. Later, a silver one parked at Big Morongo Canyon Preserve.
I actually saw two primes last week! One was a red one parked at Texas Roadhouse off of 190 in Garland, Texas and the other one was a blue one pulling out of CVS in Palestine, Texas off of the loop! I honked but doubt they heard me.
