I thought I was done with my order after I confirmed it, but I never received an email saying "Your Prius Plug-in Order Has Been Completed". When I login to the "my order" page, I see:

    "Final Approved Status:
    thank you for your order!"

The only option I have on this page in the "cancel order" button.

What status does this page show after you receive the email titled, "Your Prius Plug-in Order Has Been Completed"?

I got the "congratulations! your prius plug-in order is complete." and that's what I see, with the click to see summary...

When I went back to confirm, I couldn't find the "Confirm" button. I remembered seeing it when I set up my vehicle configuration. So, I went back through the vehicle configuration. The website put up a screen saying that my vehicle was configured and then I saw the "Confirm" button. Toyota has been tweeking the website so that process may or may not work now.

I just ordered through AutoWest Toyota in Hayward CA with Damien Burns. He was very straight forward and sincere. He discussed my order with his "Big Boss"(he is a big gentleman:)) Gim Chu. I got the deal at few hundred above invoice + tax +doc fee. No BS. The pricing is way better than $500 off MSRP. Highly recommended.

Do you mean that you selected AutoWest as your dealer when completing the online order as a priority purchaser, or have you placed an order through them for one of the cars to be allocated to them later?
Based on the difference between dealer invoice and msrp for a 2011 level ll, $500 is about in the middle. Were you shown an invoice?

I just looked into the Advance model only but he has mentioned it will be few hundred above invoice for all other models. I have been using this site for a while but first time poster. I think this is a wonderful deal and want to share with everyone who are interested here. Please be gentle.

Base $30721, Advanced $37945 plus delivery etc, from this site:
Toyota Prius Plug-in - AOL Autos

Adding $760 delivery to the invoice would match Minori's price of $38705 giving the dealer about $1680. There may be some additions and subtractions to that amount based on advertising, incentives, holdbacks, etc.

Yep. But I have no problem whatsoever with Dianne's deal at Carson Toyota. The discount plus the gas card just about splits the difference, and there was no hassle or jumping from one dealer to another to get it.

Would you explain how you calculate this? Am I getting a good deal? I thought most of the people are getting -$500 from MSRP. Thank you.

You said you were getting your car for "a few hundred over invoice." Since that earlier post, you indicated it was for the Advanced trim model. The difference between dealer invoice and msrp on that car is approximately $1680. However, the difference between invoice and msrp on a Base trim model is only about $1279. So only you can figure if you are "getting a good deal." The delivery fee of $760 is added to both invoice and msrp, btw.
Subtract invoice from msrp to arrive at the difference, and go from there.

What are the best deals that people are getting on this car for Base/Advanced?

Less than that, frankly, on a car with 0 factory options. It's equally horrible on a advanced car.

Bump. Who is doing better than $750 off? That's the best deal I've heard so far on AT and Base.

Wait until the Priority ordering ends and see how much you will get gouged if you did not already make your deal. In Calfiornia with it getting a new carpool sticker , I am expecting many thousands over MSRP....,
