Posting reply is buggy

It has become much worse as last summer I was having No problems at all.
I believe an update of the Priuschat software is incompatible with the IOS 8.1 iPad operating system for editing or file uploading functions. Rather frustrating as I am developing things for use on our 2012 that I would like to share with the community, and I just cannot do that without being able to upload pictures.

 

Mendel--thanks for test. Apparently new versions of the IPad OS are not playing nicely with Priuschat. Unfortunately do not think I can return to the pre8.0 OS on this thing, partly for security reasons.

 

Why are so many people putting extra links to Bizrate and Walmart in their posts?




I know what an iPad is, I don't need a link to it.

Why does the admin have these in place? If it's to make money from clicks/ads, find some other way. I do not want my posts contaminated with spam. Not to mention, it confuses the heck out of me when I read them since it makes it looks like the author wanted to put those links in.

 

I think you have two choices with that:
Live with it.
Find a different place to discuss your Prius.
OK, there's a 3rd choice too: Install the Ad Block plugin.
I didn't even realize that AB eliminates that annoyance but apparenly it does because I'm not seeing it anymore.

 

This came up a while ago and Danny agreed to mark the automatically inserted ad links so they didn't look like links posted by the author. On my PC the ad links have a bar across the top.

 

They're misleading. There was a thread on power windows, so I click on the link expecting a picture and instead it was an ad Yes I see the line. I use Adblock Plus in Safari and the links are still there.

HAHAHAHA......now this is funny in a perverse sort of way.

I realized that even AB isn't perfect and some of the "manufactured links" still show up......including this one.

 

Well it's still annoying. In my post here I had to change "night vision" to night-vision, get rid of "wheel covers" and "Walmart" to remove your spam.

As I said before... lame

And I think each time I see spam added to my posts, I'm just going to change one of the links to a picture of a cat.
