My car needs a good washing, but it looks like an armored space car now. It definitely turns heads.

I have some for sale on the private sales forum.

Wouldn't an outward projection be convex, not concave? ;)

I would not want my wheels to project outside of the edge of the tires.

Wow, that looks better than I thought it would. What are the weights and dimensions on each?

Very interesting and unique rims gge5, good job. One of my friends told me my car looks like a space ship so I found your comment hilarious.

Here are the old pics with the 17" rims when the car was still new after waxing with Zaino. I don't have them on now but will be putting them back on once the weather is warmer.

I just had these rims put on. Found a set of Brand New Scion TC Rims/ Tires from Craigslist. What a world of difference in cornering and stability!! My belief is that the safety of better handling, stability and better looks is well worth the $60/ year extra I will be paying for fuel.

These are an option on the Toyota Prius from factory. It is a $1649 option. They are Enkei 17X7. I wonder how much these weigh. The sticker still reads 48/45 mpg. We all know the Prius will not get that with these wheels.

You can also stretch your tires on your wheels and get them to look like that. You just have to have wider wheels.

Anyone want to buy a set of tC rims on Bridgestone Turanza tires? $200 is what I paid for them, this is what they look like mounted on a 2G with the B&G springs. Looking to get $200

yes sure, but they came with Potenza GIII high performance tires. They seem a bit "soft". So maybe they will offer more rolling resistance.

Yea GIII seems to be high grip sports tires. Enjoy that feature at least.

Did you install B&G with the stock struts/shocks? How is the handling difference?

Yes the GIII seems good in sporty (read agressive) cornering  When they will be worn out, I'm planning on buying Bridgestone Ecopia EP100.

Stock struts/shocks, no other brace (at the moment). The ride is really good. My guess would be a bit stiffer than the touring on Gen2. Mine is the base model so it's only hypothisis reading what others says about the touring. But the lower center of gravity is GREAT and now with my CE28N I would never go back to stock setup.
