Spotted my 1st Prius C that wasn't on a dealers lot. It was a silver model 2 or 3 silver in color I saw it on Marietta Street Downtown Atlanta in front of CNN center it was heading East, looked great still had dealer tag on it...
Keep an eye out for my Summer Rain Prius c! I just picked it up yesterday. I commute from 128 to the boston area. I've seen a few v's but no c's yet. What color do you have?
Yes, that's the place! Funny, I couldn't remember the name of the place when I posted, but then the next day happened to be watching a Japanese show that featured it! Thanks for posting this! Tideland Prius: Mega Web is located in Odaiba, which is actually on a man-made, artificial, island in Tokyo Bay, which is accessed by crossing the rather famous Rainbow Bridge. It has tons of interesting sights and places to visit. Well worth spending a day there, if anyone is ever planning to travel to Tokyo. I actually lived fairly close to Toyota City way back in 1987, when I was there for the first time as an exchange student. Sadly, other than a huge Toyota factory, I never saw anything exciting when I, very briefly, visited a friend there. Sorry about side tracking the OP's thread.
Salt Lake City. Saw the first Prius C in the SLC that wasnt mine. Saw it on wasatch blvd heading north near 4500 south. It was magnetic grey metallic color.
Same here in Rhode Island. The only ones I have seen are on dealer lots. Went back to my dealer last weekend with a question and they said the C has become much harder to get than it was three weeks ago when I got mine. Toyota's ad campaign has stepped into high gear, so suddenly the demand has outstripped the supply. Like Carrollights, I have had that experience of the traditional Prius driver seeing me on the highway, pulling up even in the next lane and gawking, then dropping back a little to look at the rear of the car probably wondering what it was. "Hmm...it says Prius, but it doesn't look like a Prius?"
Seen a grey C in downtown Portland, and a Habanero one driving on hwy 26 in Beaverton... Also just finished a 2800 mile roadtrip in mine, and saw a grand total of 2 others, a white one in San Luis Obispo, CA and a black one somewhere on I-5 in southernish Cali..
I didn't see another one in the two weeks I'very had mine, then today I see two. One was at the grocery store at lunch, the other on the way home after work. That one was Habanero like mine. BOY that is bright! The other was summer rain...my first color choice and from the same dealer as mine.
I've had my Prius c (in Moonglow) for a little over a month now and have not seen another one except for the ones at dealer lots when I was shopping for mine. I'm always looking out for another and thought I would have seen one by now living in Los Angeles. I do a lot of driving for work around the city so I'm hoping to see one soon!
