    You don't need to go to the meet with mirror shine finish. I went to the LA meet a few years go with a thick layer of dirt and rain spots on my Prius. Nobody cares. People already know what a Prius look like. They don't care if it shines like mirror. People goto meets to talk. There's no wax police there. You're lucky you live close by. It would still take me 3 hours to go to the LA meet.

    Actually the car is already mostly done -- I just stayed up way too late to work on it.

    I think I'll tough it out and make it there. See ya guys at 11.

    If anyone wants some instruction on detailing, I'll have my stuff there.

    HAHA, Just woke up. I was up from 11AM yesterday and got home from work at 8AM this morning. No way I could have made it.

    All right guys last meet was good, who would be down for august 31st,it's a Sunday. I was planning to have them on the last Sunday of every month. We could also do it on the 24th. It would also be nice we could have very large bi-annual meet.

    monthly meets are too frequent. There was a big SF meet a couple of years ago that I went. I went to the green drive expo in 2011 and 2012. There were meets after the show. I met F8L, cwerdna, a bunch Priuschat mods, Tideland Prius , HTMLSpinner, Danny, Jack Chen (Enginer owner) and pEEf and his amazing Gen II plugin conversion and many other Priuschatters. Too bad, no more Green Drive Expo. There's AltCarExpo in Santa Monica on Sept 19-20 but no meets.

    I really enjoyed organizing the Green Drive Expo events in California. I especially enjoyed the camaraderie and bringing together of the community. GDE San Francisco was a blast. I miss it!

    I agree.

    I haven't had much time to monitor Priuschat much anymore (and have had to cut back on my forums, in general)... and my focus has shifted more towards EVs. If there is a Bay Area meet in the near future, I might be able to make it. I'll bring my Leaf, provided its within range...

    I did participate in New Guinness Record For Largest EV Parade Set At 507 Vehicles (Pics and Videos) | Inside EVs.

    @Priusmpg is studying out of the country. I am not sure when he will be back. The lighting upgrade on my car were the last things he installed on my car.

    Fremont is a little far for me, but I would be down. Would take some convincing of the wife, but once in awhile should be doable;).

    I was just down in your neck of the woods with @mmmodem at @jeff652 's place utilizing his experience and knowledge to add something to my Prius:).

    More details soon(y).
