Lol yup... once the 2nd baby comes, no more free time for me. Gonna miss going to bjj and working out it'll be all about the babies

 

I'm thinking of coming also, live about 3 hours away, need an excuse to visit the bay again and get out of this damn heat.

Just need to drain and fill ATF, previous owner never had changed ATF. Also need to replace both engine oil and oil filter, thinking of going to Luscious Garage. I moved into an apartment recently and can't do that stuff in parking spaces said on the lease. No one has ever swapped fluids and parts out of all the cars owned, this could be the first ever if I don't come.

 

Ain't that the truth. I don't know about you guys but each one is their own type of crazy. We went from one that is super social (our daughter loves everyone) to one now that is a little shy but you stop looking at him and suddenly he's on top of the kitchen table somehow. Lol

 

FYI, I went to these meet ups when my 3rd baby was -1 day old and +4 months old. It kinda shows you the kind of devotion a father has towards family once he gets to number 3... J/K The meetups are a time to relax sit down and talk to everyone, share and listen to stories. It's therapeutic even and DW encouraged me to hang out with friends. I'm usually the guy with the "clean" hands because I don't know much about cars so I get handed the camera to take pictures or the tongs to manage the grill.

Oooh Disneyland for Turkey Day? Hmmmm that sounds like a great idea.

 

Those are easy! We'll have the ATF drain and fill done in about an hour.

If you're willing to help, we'll get it done.

Now we just need a date.

 

Actually the week after turkey day.

We usually do Monday through Thursday,but this year we're staying down there and going to family friends in Palm Desert.

We visited them last year in July when it was 117 there .

I convinced the wife that was a bad idea and we'll pool trips down south this time .

If you'll have me I would love to join you guys at a meet up. Just got my 2014 Prius (my third) and am looking to do some real learning, modding and meet up with some great people!! My 14 y/o son my want to join in the fun.. He has some interest in learning also... if that's cool. Getting ready to do a bunch of suspension work, and probably an oil change by the time the next meet happens. Live in Martinez, I am still gimping from my accident, but would be willing to help as much as possible and learn even more from all of you!

Lol none. I don't own a shop, I wish I did

 

I have a two car garage but its full of life stuff!! and my drive-way has an incline so not two sure it is conducive for a meet up.
Could make some space for 1 car possibly in the garage, but parking is somewhat limited in our neighbor hood.. My tools are limited to sockets, wrenches, and screw drivers, i.5 T jack and a couple of "small" jack stands.. I usually do my work up at Travis Air Force Base since I have access to the Auto Hobby Shop.
