You'll definitely be unique...surrounded by all those blizzard pearls and silver! Are you getting a solar roof?
Picked up my Prius V w/ Nav. Blizzard Pearl w/ Bisque. Delivered yesterday evening from the New Century 1 shipment at Newark in the Central Atlantic Region. Paid MSRP less $500 discount. He threw in a set of Toyota All Weather mats and the dealership had a promo earlier this month and he set one back for me so I got a free 8gb iTouch as well. Additionally, last night I was buying wax and cleaning supplies and when I stopped to look at it I told him I was going to wax it today, he had me leave the wax and when I picked it up today it was waxed! I plan to tint the windows soon. Life is good. I'm at work and the 22 mile trip from the dealership to the job returned 56 mpg (10 miles interstate + 12 miles rural 2 lane).
No, no option packages for me. Didn't want nav, so I couldn't justify the cost of the sunroof. I'll tell you this...the SBM is beautiful and the car drives like a dream. I'm not going to worry too much about MPG until after the break-in period.
1) Package IV with Solar and Nav 2) Blizzard Pearl exterior, Bisque interior 3) Purchased from Wilson Toyota in Ames, IA 4) Good dealer, salesperson knew the car very well, straight MSRP I've had money down since last August with a local Twin Cities dealer, but their allocations aren't including many IV's with solar in BP. I went to the net and found out that IA was getting steady allocations that matched my selection and Wilson in Ames had one that wasn't spoken for. I put money down three weeks ago and picked it up today.
Package level + options (nav, solar roof, ATP, other) IV with moonroof (implies Nav and solar roof), remote entry, and door sills Exterior and interior colors Sandy Beach Metallic with bisque interior, leather (since a IV) When and where (city, state,) you took delivery Took delivery yesterday from Dianne, the High Priustess, in Manhatten Beach, CA and immediately drove 400 miles to get it to its new home near San Jose. Any other information you choose to share, such as dealer, price, length of wait, etc. I noticed this color and package in Dianne's allocation list three weeks ago TODAY and called her and put a deposit down after a nice chat. Then, she forwarded the allocation printout which enabled me to follow the boat from its first stop at Benicia (50 miles from me), down the coast to Long Beach, 10 miles from her dealership. Then, 12 VERY long days of silence before she called Monday night to tell me she had it. After 400 miles in it, I can tell I am going to love this car; no buyer's remorse here.
1) Package III 2) Classic Silver Exterior, Misty Grey Interior 3) Purchased from Lakeside Toyota, New Orleans, LA 4) I had a friendly and very knowledgeable dealer There were only two 2010 cars available, the Classic Silver and the Sandy Beach. I opted for the Classic Silver since I didn't need the navigation system of the Sandy Beach. Initially, the Blizzard Pearl was the most attractive of the colors, but I would have had to wait a while to get it and I didn't feel like waiting! I'm glad I didn't get it though because it seems that it's the most popular color.
Now Silver has pulled way ahead of Blue Ribbon! It's still far behind Blizzard Pearl, but not by so much anymore. Looks like we're still going to be seeing a lot of silver Prii.
Package IV with Nav and Sunroof. Had Remote Start, lighted door sills, all weather mats and (unfortunately) the IPOD cable installed. I traded my 2007 Touring edition (powder blue...or Sea Side Pearl). Loved my 2007...Love my 2010 even more. As smooth as the 2005 and 2007 Prius were this is hands down smoother, more luxerious. I feel pampered and decadent. Base price was 32k, got 18,5 for a trade in for the 2007 (21k miles, toyota certified maintenance). They took off $200.00 for the ipod cable and are tinting the windows, adding Window guards - when they come in - and to top it off I get 3 years of service, oil changes, tire rotations, Emergency Service (I only purchased the base maintenance package and they beefed it up some) and every time I bring it in for whatever...my dealership will do a full detail inside and out - plus if I have to drop it off they will give me a loaner car for free to drive around...last time I got a Scion red sports car. I love my dealer - Performance Toyota, Kansas City, Kansas. The Blue Ribbon Metallic is totally beautiful and I love the new look. First time I've had leather heated seats and I love them!!!
1) Package III, no options 2) Barcelona red/bisque 3) Leith Toyota, Raleigh, N.C., will be taking delivery on or about July 24 4) Had a good salesguy who did not push options/higher packages; dealership didn't add on high-profit extras (Toyoguard); trade-in value was more than fair. A good experience overall so far.
I had thought to wait till Christmas to get my 2010 but I passed by Toyota of El Cajon and saw a silver w/SR and a Barcelona w/SR. I knew I shouldn't but I stopped to "look" which turned into drive which turned into FUN!
Got my Blue Ribbon Metallic IV today with SR/Nav. Love it so far. The color is just beautiful. And the sunroof, I have to say is absolutely huge compared to the sunroofs in previous cars I've seen. I can quite possibly say I'm falling in love with this car! Only grip I have so far, is the homelink mirror is a pain to figure out!
Package level + options (nav, solar roof, ATP, other) - Package II, floor mats. Exterior and interior colors - Blizzard Pearl, Dark Gray. When and where (city, state,) you took delivery - Yesterday (7/11/09) - Anchorage, Alaska Any other information you choose to share, such as dealer, price, length of wait, etc. - $22,938, Kendall, 2 days to decide (was on the lot). Hi all! I'm new here... first time posting. Stopped by looking for information and decided to take part. My new baby is the Prius III with navigation in red. I went in at the beginning of June looking for a Prius II in red. The guy talked me into the Prius III because of the slightly better sound system and bluetooth. I specifically said no navigation and no leather. However, when it came to actually getting the car, they couldn't get what I wanted in red. They kept trying to sell me the white one they had or the Prius IV they had in red. I held firm and said I'd wait. They called me two days later to tell me they found a red one with navigation and they'd split the difference with me, so I went ahead and took it. I never thought I'd use the navigation feature, but it's come in handy! I'm now a navigation convert. Even just having the map there is useful. I was out of town over the weekend with a friend and we wanted to find a Mexican restaurant and used the navigation to find one. So cool. And I love the back up camera! One month and very pleased so far.
I can now officially reply to this thread - I have a IV with solar roof - Classic Silver and Dark gray interior.
Took delivery yesterday - 7/13. Prius III with sunroof in Blizzard White with dark gray interior. Embden, Maine
