This is just a reminder to everyone to please answer both parts of the poll - 1) Package level + options AND 2) Color - and to add your details in a reply. 216 people have selected their package, but only 171 remembered to select the color -- so maybe the color results are completely skewed and Blizzard Pearl is not really twice as popular as the next most popular colors (Silver followed by Blue Ribbon).
2010 Prius II in classic silver/misty grey interior Port-added carpet mats and window tinting Brought it home from Fort Worth Toyota a week ago today and am loving it! Great experience with this dealership and I highly recommend them. I waited app. 3 weeks for delivery. Paid MSRP + 2 requested port add-ons.
IV+ nav, solar roof, Ipod conn., window tint, and rear bumper protector Blizzard/bisque Deerfield Beach, FL; 6/29/09 25 days wait
So far, basic Package II and Package IV with Solar Roof are even at 21%! What conclusions can we draw from this?
I don't have the car yet but I voted anyway (both parts) because I didn't read the part that said "please vote after you have received your 2010 Prius" until I had already voted. Sorry sometimes I don't follow directions to well. Anyway here is what I will be getting: Prius V with ATP paint protection film, rear bumper applique, wheel locks, floor and cargo mats, cargo net and RS3200 Security System silver with dark gray Ordered on 6/26/09 from Campbell Toyota, Hermiston, Oregon paid MSRP expect delivery in 60 to 90 days, I hope.
I'm afraid my directions must be hard to follow because very few people follow them . But thanks for following the rest of the directions (about voting both parts and summarizing your details). Hope you get your car soon - I'm sure it must feel like a long wait!
Prius V w/NAV and remote engine start Classic Silver/Misty Gray Ordered Jun 13, 2009 Delivered Fairfax, VA June 30, 2009 paid MSRP, but got an extra $1000 on trade compared to other dealers asking MSRP
:cheer2:I brought my Package II home today. It is in Sandy Beach Metallic. I don't know why that color doesn't show up in the popularity polls. It is gorgeous!
Be happy that your car is going to be pretty unique wherever you go. Everybody else's 2010 Prius is going to be blizzard pearl. Earlier Prii are all silver! At first, I didn't like the sandy beach that much. But I had seen it in a showroom. When I saw it outside with the sun shining on it, it looked really good.
Package level II Black w/ Misty Gray Bethesda, MD Jim Coleman Toyota, MSRP, 2 week wait. Overall, a very good experience
New PriusChat member, new Barcelona Red Prius II (I, too, submitted too fast to add in my color- guess I was just too excited to participate). MSRP + floor mats. July 3rd delivery in Twin Cities, MN from Toyota City in Brooklyn Park. Ended up making the purchase without ever actually testdriving one . Would have got it (rather, one just like it) two weeks ago, but a dealer swap it was depending on fell though. As I was talking to the salesperson, I had a great view of the vehicle and another (blizzard pearl - unsure of package) 2010. I also had a great view of the three or four other shoppers who stopped to specifically look at them as they wandered the lot. Just felt the need to register to let you all know how helpful you are for us lurkers doing research. This is the car I ended up with after researching options since January.
Welcome aboard and congratulations! And thank you for making your first post on this thread! :welcome:
Perhaps because Toyota is hoarding them. Since no swaping around here, I checked every dealer in OR, WA, and ID and a some in NV and CA (there were less than 10 and almost all were II or IV with navigation (which I will never own installed in a car again for tech and $ reasons). I finally found a SBM III today in my area that I put a deposit on for delivery prior to month end (WA hybrid sales tax exemp ends 7/31). While a bit more available, blue and black were next most rare in this selling region, followed by Red and Winter Gray. Silver and Pearl everywhere, take it or leave it. Same goes for Nav in V and VI.
Due to some perfect timing I picked up my Silver Prius V with the AT package on June 18th, exactly one week after I first dropped into the showroom at Ourisman Fairfax Toyota in Northern Virginia (DC Suburbs) and took a test ride in their red V with the AT package. My car came pre-loaded with the carpet, first aid kit, cargo net, rear bumper protector, etc. kit of options. It also came preloaded with the door sill guards/lights and the remote start option, two things which I probably would not have ordered but I am pleased that they are on the car. I paid book price for the car and options, no upward "market adjustment" added. Got a reasonable trade for my hail-damaged, (but otherwise in excellent condition) fully loaded black 2004 Prius which had about 80K miles on it. The hail damage was fortunately just a slew of dimples, no paint breakage.
Maybe. I had a chance to see the color yesterday after someone pulled their deposit. I hated it - reminded me of a mustard bottle and the bisque fabric seats, and esp. rug, were way to light for anyone who likes to hike, etc. So after hunting accross three states I changed to Blue, which also was suddenly at the dealer. Good thing I had a chance to look before ordering - like the lady in another thread who hates the misty gray interior 4 days after taking home (who did not have opp to check it out first). Of course I had to go six hours away to find the model I wanted in Blue. Pick up next week!
Picking up my IV in Sandy Beach/Bisque later this afternoon. Doesn't seem to be a popular color, which makes it all the more unique.
