Sure, pity it 'll be such a long time coming still. The dealer promised me a test drive in July, when the first new Prii will arrive here. I'm looking forward to it.. :hungry:
Hey guys -- there are 69 responses to the poll but there are not 69 replies in this thread with requested details!

2010 Prius V w/Adv. Tech. package in Classic Silver Met exterior/Misty Gray leather interior. Port options are: VIP RS3200 Security System $359.00, Rear Bumper Applique $69.00 and Carpet Floor Mats & Cargo Mat $200.00. Purchase the 2010 Prius from Mossy Toyota in Pacific Beach, CA (San Diego area) on May 29th, 2009. Price $33,148.00 plus taxes, license, etc...
I am suprise that Classic Silver Metallic is not more popular. I see a lot of silver Gen II Prius around the San Diego area.
Maybe it's because there are so many Gen II Prii in silver people want something less commonplace. I must say that I think the silver 2010 looks very nice -- but If I get 2010, I would definitely go with another color.

Package level + options (nav, solar roof, ATP, other) Pkg III + nav, Sirius/XM, BT hands free, rear view camera Exterior and interior colors Blizzard Pearl with beige (light tan?) interior When and where (city, state,) you took delivery Thursday, 6/4, in Garden Grove, CA Any other information you choose to share, such as dealer, price, length of wait, etc. There were three 2010's on the lot at the time, a Black Pkg II, another Blizzard Pearl Pkg V and the Pkg III we bought. Without being too careful about it during mostly surface street commuting, I'm average around 48 mpg on my second tank of gas. Everyone of my friends, family and co-workers have reacted favorably to the this car and one just today changed her mind about getting a used Lexus after driving my Prius. She's not changing to a Prius, but she's definitely going to look into getting a new Toyota SUV instead of a used Lexus.
Bought the Prius V with AT. Blizzard Pearl, gray interior. I bought it in Terre Haute, IN. I had a wonderful dealer experience. I ended up going with the dealer's offer of Warranty, but I negotiated them down to the price quoted on here. I did purchase the extra tire protection, only because I have had problems in the past. I also got their protection package after researching simoniz glasscoat, and found that it is pretty decent stuff. Paid roughly 32k.
Thank you all who have voted and especially those who have entered a reply in this thread with more details of your purchase. It's very interesting to see who bought what, where, and when, especially here in the Washington Metro region where so far I've only seen a few at the dealers' and none with the solar roof. So far, at 26%, Blizzard Pearl is by far the most popular color choice for the 2010. After that, Blue Ribbon and (surprise) Classic Silver are tied at 12%. The typically popular choices of black and grey are last place. Who finds these results suprising? I do like the blizzard pearl, but I don't find it that special a color and I didn't think it would be the runaway choice, especially at $220 extra. Or maybe the premium price was a very clever marketing tactic by Toyota to make people think that they would be getting something very special by picking it. The Package IV with solar roof is the most popular configuration at 22%. Toyota seemed to have really missed the mark on this one by producing so few with the solar roof, but then again, it might also have been a clever marketing ploy to make demand go up! What's most interesting to me is that this poll is for those who have already received their cars (although I know probably a few might have voted for what they ordered, rather than what they received) so Prii with solar roofs (even Package IIIs) are being made and are actually being delivered, though it seems not in my part of the world.
I believe the Model III with solar roof numbers are low because it is not available in all areas. These numbers will reinforce their belief that model III buyers don't want to pay for solar roof, while in fact they just want the car they can get most quickly. The only reason I was able to get a III with solar in So CA is because my dealership special ordered two for their rental business but sublet rentals to Hertz so they had 2 available for sale. They both sold the same day! If that doesn't show supply and demand, I don't know what does!
The Dealer I'm getting my car from said that Blizzard Pearl (w/ sunroof) was the most requested color.
Newbie here - I was almost in this category. I'm renting a car at the moment so getting a car quickly is a priority. The sunroof was a must. I was on the verge of going for a IV although I really didn't want the extras in the IV package over the III, but I held off for a couple of weeks and Dianne at Manhattan Beach Toyota was able to locate a III with sunroof for me today. She even got me my first choice color. I'll be adding it to the poll when it arrives in a couple of weeks. So for me at least it was worth waiting a bit.
2010 V with Nav - Blue Ribbon Interior dark gray purchased and picked up on June 11, 2009 Still running on first tank of gas 430 miles so far...but getting the blinking single bar.
