The ride is great, low, comfortable, and solid. I commute min of 600 miles a week. I've had four adults in the car with no rubbing problems at all. She feels like a totally different car.

just bumping this thread to say hi. I have a 2013 package 4 w sunroof and Plus Performance. I really love this car. people regularly say it "doesn't look like a Prius" or "that's one badass prius". I really love that the mods are factory and warrantied, and that TRD engineers actually spent time perfecting it (better than I ever could!) As i cruise around in ev mode, I often feel like I have outdone the tesla model s owners around town--I paid 1/3 of what they paid and my car looks as badass, can drive silently too but can also refill at a gas station, and it's much rarer. handling is really quite excellent. it also looks cooler than the Volt with sport wheels. but 10k cheaper. I love it! lets hear it for the Pluses!! -peakciv

Put the shorter antenna on ;) It works just as well as stock and looks nice. The shark fin is also nice but costs a bunch. My short antenna cost 10 bucks from eBay.

    Awesome pictures!!
Can't really see the difference in the leds in the pics, but I'm sure they look awesome at night.
The forged wheels matches the blizzard white, silver and black nicely!
I like the lowered look, but doesn't it contribute to a STIFF ride?
I get the sway bars & the plus size wheels for improving cornering.
Is there a considerable ride difference between the plus size wheels and the 15"?

I'm thinking of getting a III in blizzard white or silver with solar and add the plus size wheels & ground effects when I can put it in the budget. Wish I could have it in leather. Maybe I can get it reupholstered in leather...but the door panels won't match. Anyone had the seats redone in leather?

prinut, the ride is definitely stiffer. Sportier and more stable, but bumps hit hard compared to the stock 15s and suspension on my wife's 2010 #3. But it handles so much better, looks cooler, totally worth it IMO; same would be true of any sportier car, stiffness is the point.

One rarely discussed feature of the Plus is that you literally cannot see an exhaust pipe from behind it--the lowering and flared rear bumper (looks like Vader's helmet in black) makes it totally disappear, and the result is it looks like an electric car with no pipe. Which is, you know, kinda cool, let people wonder...

Any chance of rubbing the front of the body kit going from level straight to an incline? My driveway slopes up quickly and I'm hesitant about dropping the car, let alone adding the aero kit.

I go at driveways at an angle. No problems.

@ Mike: how about speed bumps?

I might just lower the car without the aero kit... I want to drive how I drive, without doing angles, and without the fear of rubbing anything...

I don't go over any speed bumps :) None of the Plus Perf body kit hangs any lower than the floor pan. The side skirt to ground is 6". The front lip to ground is 7" at it's lowest point. The under body panels up front are 6" off the ground. My car has the factory Plus Perf suspension & body kit. Go take a rental Prius and do those same measurements and go find speed bumps and driveways and measure the ground clearance knowing the difference from the factory Plus Perf package verses a bone stock rental Prius. You will quickly figure out if the car works for your driving areas.

The grey one to the left is on Tanabe springs with a 1" drop... I'm about 3-4 inches lower

Nice. Thanks for the pics. Why pick the Tanabe springs over the TRD? What's the difference between the two?
