By the way, Sascha is just great - when I changed my avatar from my kitty to my car again, a few of you worry that a coyote's been 'round again. She's fine. I just wanted to show off my car's back end LOL!

In the wild, I saw a pearl white one by the roadside with a flat tire this morning on the 73 just past Jamboree/MacArthur area (Newport Beach) ... at about 7:00am. I was REALLY in a hurry for an 8:30am meeting in Torrance, or I'd have stopped to check in on you.

Saw my first Winter Grey one yesterday parked outside a store in Del Mar.

 

Sure glad I've got my "donut" in the back! Ya' just never know when somethin's gonna' happen.........

 

Three PIPs southbound 405 passing Carson Toyota this afternoon. All of us in the carpool lane! Grey, White, Blue

 

My first sighting of a PiP (other than my own or on a lot ):
A few minutes before 9am this morning, Groton, MA, approaching and crossing I-495 headed southeast. I was about five cars behind a light-blue Prius identified by the chrome/silver under-the-rear-windshield panel.

No opportunity to catch up and wave.

 

A close friend ordered and obtained a PIP early. It is a quieter, well equipped vehicle. The redesigned shape makes sense when you ride in the vehicle.

 

Saw one charging up at Bella Terra last night!

Where is the Bella Terra charging station? I was at Bella Terra last weekend looking for the charging site.

 

It's on the ground floor of parking structure.

If you enter from the entrance facing The Hotel Huntington Beach, drive around to the back and it's a few steps to the back entrance of Burlington Coat Factory.

At Hillside Middle School in Simi Valley this evening, a blue one from the dealer in Glendale.

 

Just spotted driving north on 67 from the 8 east interchange..that light blue color.I was in the big white ambulance but the polished hatch trim was the giveaway

I'm concerned about what appear to be camera shots from moving vehicles sometimes posted herein. Unless you've got a dash-mounted camera such as police vehicles use, or a passenger taking the picture, I think a cop would see it as an example of distracted, unsafe driving. If nothing else, it would come under "unsafe speed for conditions," said conditions being using a hand-held camera while operating a motor vehicle.

 

I've seen my 1st PiP on the road (other than mine of course) yesterday just a couple blocks from my house. I live in So. Cal (Orange County) and see tons of Prii on the road. On my stree alone there are a about 4 or 5 but this was the first Plug-In I've seen. )

 

Do the four PiPs I saw at my local dealer count? I had my car's 5,000 service done and checked out the Pips while there.

 

I parked next to a plain BP in San Clemente about a week ago. I also drove behind a CWB going SB on 110 HOV lane new the 91 a few days ago. CWB really is a beautiful color that stands out.
