Is there a way to find out if TYesla Supercharger stations are free for Teslas or if they charge? The garage I now park in at home has 20 Supercharger stations. 1 Free J-1772 and 2 that you have to pay way too much money for. I keep finding Tesla's camped out at the free spot and they stay there for days. Most other cars pull up and unplug them, but it is still annoying. They aren't newer models, I thought especially with the older ones they all got free charging from the Tesla stations. Was I misinformed? Just trying to understand why the Teslas keep using the spot for all cars.

I believe all Tesla models before the Model 3 receive free charging. @hill can confirm.
Most likely the owners are just being a-holes because they can.

More accurately, MANY older teslas get free supercharging. For their first few years, you only got supercharging if you paid for it upfront, then they would charge you more, if you paid for it later , and it could be over the air updated to you. All Teslas - even 3's get free charging at various hotel, motel & restaurant type places that have the high-power wall Chargers (HPWC), which can supply as much as >19kW's .... nearly a rate of 60 miles a minute [EDIT - Per Hour] recharged. Even the new model 3 "performance" version gets free supercharging, because the darn thing is the highest priced version & it encourages the big-spenders to go that route. Surprisingly, another minority of"newer" owners don't get free supercharging. Those are the folks that buy a salvage titled tesla, which includes both damaged then repaired, as well as stolen then recovered much later. That's why among other reasons) when you see a salvaged title on eBay, it will typically be $25K less then its clean titled version.
Why would owners choose to use alternate charging when supercharging is nearby? Several simple reasons. First - it may be that the owner found all of the superchargers occupied. PLUS-it's easier to walk away for a very long time at most regular charger , because the supercharging network will make lazy owners pay for their stinking self-absorbed, selfish squatter's rights that waste others Time by camping after their car is charged. Rather than have to hustle back out to move their car, it will be easier just to slow charge on the chargepoint or evgo Network and not have to worry about moving it - in the selfish owner's minds. Even if a chargepoint type Network requires a fee for camping, remaining when fully charged, the Tesla can circumvent that fee, a Tesla's onboard charger can be manually slowed down to as low as 5 amps. So the owner can basically cause the recharge to take as long as they want.
Another reason tesla owners may not want to supercharge, Tesla will throttle supercharging speeds downward when owners substantially supercharge rather than regular charging speeds. Corporates rationale for doing this is to assure that the batteries will actually last 100's of 1,000's of miles & still keep most of their capacity / range.
Without going into the minutiae, that's your supercharging fun facts.

Not possible. Maybe you meant 60 miles per hour?

Thank you, @hill for all of the info. I have never seen all of the superchargers occupied, so I guess they just want to camp. The free charger isn't hooked up to any network, so they don't monitor usage. I just looked at the Plugshare site and a Tesla 3 owner says there is no charge for those Superchargers. So I am wondering if I should start printing out a supply of notes asking my friendly Tesla drivers to please use their chargers since they are free for them. There is no way they can miss them, they have to drive by them to get to the free charger.

At least there's no Chargers there. Talk about being self-important and entitled though, here's someone too lazy to remove their bike off the bike rack - so hey, let's just take up 3 entire spaces - because It's All About Meeeee.

Without sarcasm, I really cannot blame the person who parked their green colored truck at a spot which says "Reserved for Green Vehicles". The driver may well not be aware of the new definition of "green", and while they couldn't figure out why anyone would put up a sign reserving a spot for green vehicles, as opposed to red or white or some other color vehicles, they took the invite at face value, not intending to be a smart aleck.
