Pips in traffic

    i pulled into a parking lot last week, nose to nose with a mirror image of mine. took my time, hoping the owner would show up, but no dice.

    It would be great to see it everywhere in the country along with other EVs. Imagine sitting in traffic and no one is emitting any exhaust fumes. We could all breath easier.

    Anyways, I'm in Norther California where you cannot go for more than one minute without seeing a bunch of Leafs, Fiats and Teslas. A fair amount of PiPs too recognizable by the accent colors by other PiP drivers and a ridiculous amount of regular Priuses.

    Was in traffic yesterday and saw a Pip same color in front of me pull into parking area, so i followed and chatted briefly with the family inside. He was also a 2012 advanced who had just got vehicle from Carmax who brought it in from CT.

    The wife especially was glad when i told them my lifetime mpg.

    I told him about this forum and hopes he logs on.

    Damn... I want that. Meanwhile, I'm averaging 60mpg with a daily commute of 105mi.
