PIP reliability? Is buying complete coverage warranty on a used 2013 PIP worthile?

Because it will not RELIABLY go the 14 miles in EV it did when new. You said "I wouldn't expect it to be any more or less reliable." I merely pointed out that Toyota apparently disagrees with your assessment for the reason I stated.

That is hardly a reason to declare the PiP less reliable than a regular Prius. Reliability in this context refers to breaking down, not declining into graceful old age.

 

The issue is, we don't know where old age starts, and reliability ends just yet. Take the disclaimer the way you want. I stand by my assertion on a de facto basis.
