Nice! I saw my first Fisker Karma last week driving in the wild in San Diego.

Glad to see VW getting into EVs!

Those LED parking lights look awesome! First time I've seen it at night (even if it is a picture)

We don't get the LED DRLs for 2012 in Canada (yet we have DRLs... <sigh>.. maybe they're saving it as a PiP feature?)

I, too, ordered a classic silver metallic PIP (a stealth PIP), can't wait to see what it looks like in person! I picked the color so that the silver accents would blend in with the rest of the car... However, having the silver accents do make the PIP stand out - I've seen a few blue PIPs rolling around here in northern CA, and the silver accents make the non-silver-colored PIPs easily recognizable as PIPs...

Not the best camera used to take these (my cell phone) but here's my Winter Grey Metallic Advanced. I had the windows tinted 50%.

I sure like the grey...sort of looks purple with the cloudy skies.

My dad who got the blizzard pearl now wants to trade me lol. He says he loved the depth to the paint and how it turns from a grey to a grey with a slight blue or purple effect under certain lighting conditions...

I chose the same color as Paradox did for my PiP, scheduled to be built on March 27, and was wondering whether I made the right choice. These comments and pictures convinced me that I selected the right color!

    Thanks.

Awesome! The tinted windows really make it. What tint brand did you use?
My first choice was Winter Grey, but since our Gen2 is Magnetic Grey, I changed my mind. Hmmm, second thoughts....
Oh yeah, Prius is the only car I like looking at as much, or more, from behind!

I honestly don't know, I just told the guy I wanted 50% and am paying cash... I did ask about ceramic tint and he said that's all he used, he didn't use the cheap metallic stuff. I thought ceramic tint was upwards of $400 and I paid $175 but it looks good and they did a great job installing it so I'm happy. :)

Congrats Mark! I know I said I didn't really like Winter Grey for the PiP but I'm starting to warm up to it.

Some photos of Prototype PiP which competed in the Eco Rally in AjdovÅ¡čina, Slovenia, yesterday. This is the hometown of the Pipistrel aircrafts.
First photo shows consumption from my home to the end town.

I've also included photos of Protoype PiP charging along with my Vectrix maxi-scooter. They are both charging at the same time, each on it's own plug (230V), sharing the 5mm2 wire and 25A trip fuse (12A for PiP + 7.5A for Vectrix). I've built this 3 years ago and I wanted to be future-proof to charge to vehicles at the same time.

Hey there, I've had some people asking me about the California Carpool Stickers, so I thought I'd upload a few pics. The plugged in picture was taken at yesterday's event at Toyota HQ at the Automotive Museum in Torrance, CA. I have the advanced package and it arrived in Valencia, CA on March 8th (1st PIP for the dealership!).

Thats the first time I've seen a parking spot labeled "PLUG-IN HYBRID ONLY". That would imply no electric vehicles like the Leaf, Tesla, or even arguably the Volt, should be allowed to charge there.
