Not sure what you are asking.. the PC site has a search engine.. or are you asking about old posts on the spreadsheet? If its a question you can just re-ask.. (I don't mind anwering again). The spreadsheet allows lots of operations which include sorting on any field. (unter data tab) we can do "conversation", or i can pm you my phone number ifyou have an urgen question.
no, it's no biggie. i just thought there would be some sort of common sense order to the spreadsheet. if i want to find my entries, i have to start at the top and scroll down until i come to them.
Its also possible to sort on name, yours will all be clumpped together, then just undo the sort and its back in date order. For that matter, maybe its useful for people to keep it person sorted order.. if you think that is better just sort it on name and leave it that way.
Select all the rows, then select data sort then select Column B. But I just resorted by name.. it probably is more useful to most people that way.
Nice group effort The mile/kwh fleet average looks suspicious to me just by eyeballing the data, and I think has these problems: 1. It is using kwh as reported by the Prius, and not kwh from the wall. This of course misses about 15% of the electric energy the car uses from charging losses, but I also wonder how the prius meter is counting regen miles. 2. The formula adds in EV miles even in cases where the kwh use is not known.
Bisco, There were no formulas in your shaded cells. I highlighted the cells of the line above yours and dragged them to yours. OK now.
The Order of the spreadsheet changes everytime someone re-sorts a column. It was sorted by Member name, but as you add new info to the bottom, it stays there until re-sorted. I copy the file everynight to my PC as a backup. I'll try to remember to re-sort by Member each time.
1: The formula in col Q Miles/kWh is multiplying 1.15 to addressing the charging loss. I cannot answer how the Prius meter is counting regen miles but from what others said it does count regen as EV (its how paradox does stacking). 2: The formula tfor overall EV average is =DSUM($B$6:$T$218,"EV miles",C4:T5)/DSUM($B$6:$T$218,"kWh",C4:T5) The sum is only done using on data that matches all the criterion on C4:t5. You have to unhide c4-T5 to see what are the are criterion for that formula to be applied. , but it is only including those cells that have all the required data.
Hello new here but would love to share my pips millage and what i did to extend it. Can we upload pics?
i think you need 5 posts first. read thru and respond to some threads and then start a new one. welcome!
well heres post 2. Have 3600 miles on car so far overall mpg 113., but got 150 per per galon on 8.6 gallons 1205. I hooked up a secondary charge system id like to share with board/forum. Since last fill the car has not started and wife has 260 miles on it 0 gas. hope to get 2500 on this tank.
that's great, but you want to start a thread in plug in prius forum, and stop replying to the spreadsheet thread.
