It's about $2.50 a gallon in a Chicago suburb where I live. Higher in some areas. It is on the increase here. I think it will be much higher here when it gets close to Memorial Day.

Latest Consumers Report magazine said it would be radically redesigned. Be built on Camry platform.

Yes I agree CA seems off on its own right now...that bodes pretty well for Prii hybrid sales since about 30% of hybrid sales are in CA, and ~50% for Plug_ins, so the market has stability with that solid CA footing.

That is the Prius that I was referring to. Supposed to get better mpg. About 55 mpg.

The Challenger (especially the Hellcat) is one helluva car.
    It's about as sophisticated as a 2x4.
4400# car with a 700BHP motor in the front, delivering power to the rear.
It's probably about the best example of a pure American muscle car.

It's also about the stupidest car on the planet, and if I won the lottery today it would be one of the cars in my garage by the end of the week! :D

April, 2015, page 30. On the very top of the cover it is worded "2015 ANNUAL AUTO ISSUE".

Got it! Wow option for Li or NiMH is the rumor. No discussion of PiP.
We need to check on-line version for more info (last year they had Prius battery life survey on-line version only)

They will be selling a lot of these when they come out. They will fly off the car lots. Probably by the time they debut gasoline prices will probably have increased. Toyota knows how to do it.

Yeah let's give them something to talk about.
2015 sales of the Hybrid Prii versions are not too shabby, up 242 from last year at this time.
PiP is down, but that's the $64000 question why we can't get many over here.

Lift back (assuming it will be a lift back). Consumers did not say anything about PIP. Just mentioned redesign. Dramatic transformation was the exact words. The hybrid-electric components will be more compact. Rumored that buyers will have a choice of Toyota's longstanding nickel-metal-hydride batteries or upgraded lithium-ion batteries. Go on sale in early 2016. Toyota has been secretive with details and has yet to show a production model.

I typed this as it was written in April, 2015 Consumers Report Magazine.

Gotta wonder if the "rumor" Li battery comes with a plug to get say 3-10 miles. And then the PiP could be a better PiP. Two years ago or so, it was common rumor that the next Gen Prius would be plug-in as the standard option.

idk, that's a lot of expense for people who probably won't plug in.

It sure sounds like we won't recognize it as looking like a Prius as we know it.
