Pimping the Prius

I did upgrade my totaled 2012 gen 3 from 15" to 17" back in 2012 and the size of the tire is same as stock 17" which is 215/45 R17. The tire I use for my upgrade is Bridgestone RE760. The avg consumption I have after the upgrade is around 5-5.5/100km and still manage to get around 700-750km per tank.

This is my '04, 310,000 miles, no problems, sold it in Jan. '16 and bought my gen 4 which I will post next when I can figure how to do it.

I plan to repaint the car in orange in February in time for my 80th birthday. Why? I have no idea.

There are some great ideas on this thread... Has anyone got pin striping ideas for the Gen 4 Two? Any pics of same?

 

I am having the same issue, have you tried to upgrade your rims? If so has your mileage changed?

 

Do you have anymore pics of the roof wrap at different angles? I had it done on my Gen4, but now with my Prime I’m not so sure. I know it can fade and peel over time plus I live in harsh WI winters. Salt, snow etc....

 

Can this mods be done on a gen2 Prius?

Did you replaced e the stock suspension system (shocks, and all that)?

For us in Nigeria, MPG isn't that of a priority.

I bought a left over 2016 last month new in black and had the clear bra put on the front before I got any stone chips. It has the same sheen as the paint..

They did a nice job.

My Avatar is my 1999 Plymouth Prowler and I run a traditional bra on it.
