Personalized Plates

My plates should arrive in about a week. Since I only had 6 characters to work with, I had to settle for:

PRIUS 1

Can't believe no one had it.....

 

tkil - Speaking of geeks, in California the guy owning personalized plate "IOERROR" lives about a quarter of a mile from me.

Ha. Randal Schwartz (of Perl fame) had a SOURCE license (groan). One of the sysadmins at my previous company had "TCP IP".

Some of the other hybrid plates I've seen: GAS L8R, GEEKMBL, 48MPG, etc. I requested "50+ MPG" but it was already taken (at least in NM), so it's out there somewhere...

 

Tough break, you have my sympathies.

 

Wow...that's lucky.....great plate!

 

Nothing special on my rear plate at this time, but I had a personalized plate custom designed for my front plate to showoff my R/C flying club interests.

 

Super white 05 Chicago area plate says "Mr Zippy"

 

New project: replace front plate with a trans-reflective TFT or OLED screen (widescreen format, of course). I have no idea what I'd display on it, and I don't know how to armor it against road rash, but I figure there's no way to armor it against accidental impact.
