I don't actually spend a lot of time hating Bush. It's not that I hate him really; it's just that he's such an idiot, it's more like embarrasment when I see him open his mouth. Here's some more examples of views that were once simply "conservative", and are now unacceptable by most: -Pro-tobacco -Racism/Slavery/Segregation -Women as obedient servants, no voting/working/etc. Here's some current issues that we can hope are headed the same direction in the long term: -Homophobia -Religious intolerance -Aggressive gun rights (handguns, etc.) Of course, there are examples of society sliding backwards, but hopefully these will be mere blips on the radar!
