Paying for Prius with a credit card

    When I bought my '99 Misubishi Eclipse a few years back, I paid the entire down payment with my Credit Card (and got the "free" FF miles that came wit credit card purchase) without any problems. At that time, I did all my negotiations first...then when it was time to pay, I made a deadpan face and just took my credit card out and offered it to the cashier. They accepted it without saying anything

    I am now in the market for a Prius (and am actuall planning to make a purchase soon), and are you guys saying that the Toyota dealers will not accept a credit card?

    Has anyone here actually been refused a credit card?
