PA $500 rebate

received check today. Took 5 weeks

I received two checks about a week ago (we purchased two Priuses). Since they were sent in about three weeks apart, one took 8 weeks, the other 5.

 

Just confirming that the rebate fund apparently has still got money for 2008. I submitted my rebate request 6/28/08, and received my check yesterday, 8/2/08.

I'd like to offer thanks to Priuschat and the posters in this thread. My dealer didn't even mention the availability of this rebate. I learned about it here, and just lopped $500 off the cost of my Prius.

 

Don't get me worng, I happily cashed my $500 check but it DIDN'T prod me to buy a Prius. Does anybody else think that this money would be much better fixing Pa.'s crumbling roads and bridges instead of giving money back to a small group of people that would be buying a hybrid anyway? To me it's just another example of goverment waste. I'd like to scream at Rendell when he complains there's no money to fix the roads.....Maybe if you STOPPED wasting it Ed there would be LOL

Pa still has rebate money. Got mine today (12-20-2008). Very timely arrival! Took 7 weeks.

 

Wow! This program is still active! I sent my forms away on 5/26/09 and I just received the money today(7/1/09).

 

Just recd our check from a July 31 purchase.

 

Just saw on the news tonight that this program ends March 6, so if you live in Pa. and are thinking about buying a Prius you better hop to it!
