This is why the United States (bastion of freedom) comes as close as we can to mandating vaccines without violating people's civil rights by mandating them.

In my beloved home state of Indiana, even the Amish (who are wise enough NOT to sent their kids to public schools!) are practical enough to avail themselves of many of state issued vaccinations in for some of the medieval diseases that ravaged populations in the Middle Ages.
Unfortunately......some of our more backwards states have significant portions of their populations that "don't believe in 18th century tech" and have recently experienced outbreaks of some of those forgotten 'favorites'....

My son’s friend’s mom from middle school is a pharmacist offering her one extra shot for the day to me, since I won’t technically qualify until the 15th with the 16 and up group. Now if you don’t know me I’ve been known to faint, horribly uncomfortable experience for the two seconds or so while your lights are going out. Used to cry as a child saying I’d rather get ill. (Doesn’t work to prevent shot as a doctor’s kid). At least if I faint it won’t be in front of hundreds at a super site, maybe what 50 waiting at her pharmacy. (The lesser the less embarrassing). I’ll find out at 10 am.

I guess the mayor of San Diego was duped, gave what 60 acres to Jonas Salk to build his institute, so he’d move from Pittsburg. He’s interned at the same mortuary as my grandmother so paid I him a visit, to cheer myself up with hope. Have a pic of his tombstone as proof.

How many Americans have died from COVID? More than what war? Please don’t say just sit as vaccination doesn’t work...

 

walking into a restuarant with a mask on .. and walking out .. putting it on to go to the bathroom .. and sitting down to take it off .. that is the height of stupidity ... it is saying

" hey ... the virus spreads when your walking .. or standing .. but when you sit and eat .. suddenly it's safe ...."

 

Or, it is saying "hey, I do what's practical, prudent, and safe in as many circumstances and as much of the time as I can, but I do not try to smush food through my mask."

 

And the lack of social protections for individuals and small businesses here, mean people can't afford to not work or leave their business closed.

 

It just isn't possible to read and watch all the material from all the sides, the flood is much too large and time consuming. Life has other necessities that require attention. So the un-introduced, un-summaried 90 minute movies are the first things to hit the chopping block.

If there is any good reason to spend so much time watching such an item being promoted by a celebrity impersonator named "DeNaro", then at least give us an introduction to, and decent summary of, the piece. Enough to give me reason to continue paying attention after my internal BS detector klaxons start blaring.

You had me at "walking into a restuarant". I agree with that being the height of stupidity. That is why my state ended the "sit and eat" part inside. Do it outside, or in your car, or take it home. That is a good part of how we moved from #1 in the state rankings for the Covid outbreak, at the end of February 2020, all the way down to #45-47 today.

 

it's not all perfect, i agree. we do the best we can to limit exposure time. i won't eat at a restaurant in or out, but i will get takeout to support them, and tip generously.

that doesn't justify no masks ever and spreading it like wildfire.

we have an outdoor mask mandate in massachusetts (republican governor) don't ask me why, no science or data pointing to that being effective. politics i suspect, i've been civilly disobedient

 

Got my first Moderna shot this morning. Absolutely painless. I could only feel the coldness of the needle vs the last shot I got which was for the flu.

Out of the five in my household I am guilty of going out the most. So who knows, I may have already caught it, recovered, and am now immune.

Hope you’re not calling me out. I actually felt ill driving over to get my shot. I guess you can call it paranoia because after the last time I fainted, they told me I have to warn the shot administrator from then on and have me lay down, if at all possible. (I didn’t sleep well last night)....

The vaccine has to be kept COLD. So no surprise the needle was cold. Besides the fact that my friend was giving me the shot, was aware that I may faint, the cold is actually a numbing agent. So yes, a good shot administrator may not jiggle the needle while it is in your arm and you may have a good experience of it. I saw my son get a flu shot once where it was jiggled while in him. I asked him how he it went and he didn’t even notice. I didn’t want bring him back there next year.

My arm is slightly tender, no redness but I’m slightly red color blind. I actually feel better than when I went in. (I didn’t faint, which is a good feeling)...

 

I personally refuse any experimental non approved vaccine.
These vaccines do not prevent catching or spreading anything.
They supposedly will lessen the worst symptoms.

It is your choice to get the shots.

There are some people ill & dieing after getting these shots.

Sadly there is 0 protection from getting these vaccines as the companies are immune.

Be very careful what you decide and always do proper research.

It affects everyone differently.

I am thankful to the test subjects.

But a 98% survival rate I will stay unmasked & live my life.

Majority of deaths have been in hospitals. Nurses finally coming out explaining what they have seen.

We each have been mislead on this scamdemic.

And a employer can not legally require it

If they do & you get it make sure you have it in writing as you can sue your employer.

They have voluntary test groups, where some got placebo and some got vaccine. Tested for efficacy and dosing. Before approval for distribution to that age group. Not sure where you got the general population is being experimented on....
