I almost never exceed 80, kms per hour. Do stick to secondary highways where possible.

When the seventies era oil crunch caused gas prices to double and triple quickly, the US mandated a 55 mph limit everywhere. Save fuel, save lives. Now most limits on good controlled access highways are 70 but the fuel consumption is less than the 55 mpg era and safety features like air bags and crumple zones have been in place for thirty years. Driven by government requirements.

I feel it’s a bit similar to flying. If there is an aircrash there is hardly any survivor. But airplains still have less accidents then cars.
I think the speed difference kills more than the high speed. I have just found this statics: Traffic accidents - Statistisches Bundesamt
Based on this German highways are safer than main roads.
    Also:
“Number of persons killed in road traffic accidents per million population, 2014”
    Germany: 42, EU average 51. (http://www.ksh.hu/docs/hun/xftp/idoszaki/baleset/baleset15.pdf)
In Hungary - speed limit is over 80 mph - only 3.4% of the accidents happened on highways.
I haven’t find comparable statistics for US - my fault - but I saw somewhere mentioned 3 times as much as in UK.
I agree with the second part. :)

Sealant is bad - just repair the head gasket if the engine is not burning oil. If it’s is burning oil, replace the engine with a rebuilt or a Gen4.
