I searched all of NJ for a red C4 with moonroof. The only one I found had the 15" alloys. I guess the dealer ordered this way?

As of today, it's not possible to order it this way. Here's a reply from Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc.:

We apologize, the moonroof option for the 2014 Prius C Four is only offered as part of the 16 inch Alloy Wheel Package. The moonroof cannot be ordered as a separate unit independent of the 16 inch Alloy Wheel Package.

Perhaps that's the policy now, it wasn't over a year ago when I got mine.

    Have you checked dealer inventory?

Mine is 2012 with moon roof and 15". I didn't know they all have 16" now for C4.

If you don't want 16" I can trade mine with 4 brand new Ecopia 422 tires:)

Wow, that must be a really recent policy change, because I just bought my 2014 Prius C Four with 15 inch Alloy wheels and moonroof just 3 weeks ago!

I was debating whether to buy a C3 that had a moonroof, or a C4 without one. Ultimately I chose the C4 because I liked the fog lights and heated seats/mirrors. Living in WI that really helps, and I drive in the countryside at night to work, so fog can be an issue at times. Though the moon roof was interesting, my brother said it's probably just one more thing that can break down on my car if I were to have gotten the C3.

We've had one vehicle with a sunroof (moonroof, whatever, a hole in the roof). Basically it was nice novelty, that's about it. Depends on your head space I guess.

One thing, it'll reduce headroom. When we were shopping Prius I sat in a moonroof model, and was immediately playing with seat height, trying to find a compromise, not impressed with the head room. And I'm just shy of 6'.

Odd. I'm a shade over 6', and head room isn't an issue for me at all (and I have a moonroof). So, I guess the moral is to check it out for yourself if you're tall.

I went for the C because it had a Moon roof option which I love having a glass view above.

Since the 16" wheels were an option I also had to have them.

For me I like the look of the larger wheels and wanted more contact patch for harder cornering.

The turning radius has never been an issue for me.

I wounder if even 5% of all C have the 16"s?

Many enthusiasts will be looking for the RARE C on the used market which makes it sell fast and get top dollar.

I have been able to get many high 50s tanks with the 16"s as well

Me too, C4 all the way.

The 16" Wheels seem to ride better than the 15" over bumps... maybe because of sidewall height is less with the 16" and has less bounce to it. I really see no turning radius problems with the 16" rims, I can U Turn on a 2 way street very easy.

If you want a terrible turning radius, get a 2003 SRT-4
