OK Time to Plan Our Next Meeting

Ooh, me too, me too! I figured I'd be trying to come to one of these meetings to get pre-sale advice, but our car came much quicker than expected... so I'll be coming to show it off instead! :mrgreen: (Well, assuming scheduling works out. Most of the next few weekends will involve moving to an apartment.)

As for location suggestions... the parking lot at Northgate Mall rarely gets completely full, and the more remote parts of it are easily visible from busy streets if we want to show off / advertise. There's a Red Robin, CPK, and Azteca there for food.

 

Northgate is in Seattle, along I-5, around exit 173 or 174. I don't know the area well enough to know if there are only good photo shoot sites - park, etc. I know that Lake Washington is to the east and the Sound is to the West, but if there is anyplace to park our cars to show them off and get a good picture with the water view in the background - I don't know. Anyone else familiar with this area?

 

only been to Northgate once, and that was many years ago. I believe it's technically in Lynnwood isn't it? I could handle that or in the south side of town really it's only a matter of an extra 15 -20 minutes. You know 180 miles verses 195 miles what's the difference. Now if you want a real photo op what say we do a stop on the I-90 floating bridge one runs forward with a step ladder and takes a picture of the gang of us and we sent a copy to PI, that will have to be done fast before the police arrest the lot of us. But has most of the things that Val has requested, cars water etc. Just a thought.

 

No, Northgate is south of Lynnwood (exit 182-ish), about 10 Miles south.

I was just trying to think of a good background for our Prii photo shoot - park, water, etc. Your idea for along I-90 sounds cool, but I am not sure if we could pull it off.

 

comeon now you know we can, your just fudging on the "arrest" thing!

 

By then there will be more in the group with their cars and we will want to take an updated photo. Think of this time as a dress rehearsal.

Northgate mall? In Seattle? Or Lynnwood? Erm, I have no idea where anything is in either of those cities. I avoid Seattle at all costs since I get rediculously lost in it, and Lynnwood is pretty far away (remember, Blazers guzzle gas...) and I've never had a reason to go there more than twice. I'd probably miss the meet due to when I get off work and how long it'd take me to get there. But of course there's always next month's meeting, so it's not a terrible loss if I can't make it. *shrug* However, given the choice between the two, I'd vote Lynnwood.

 

Are you suggesting Bel-Square again? With the participation from the last meeting!
