Julie, I saw a black 2010 today at the Toyota dealership in Muncie, IN. That car was very beautiful! And I'm not partial to black.

Great pics! I have to say I like the Barcelona Red too, I think my favorite colors are the Blizzard Pearl, or that. I love HTML's upclose shot of the flake on the Blizzard pearl.

Love the group shots too, really highlights what an improvement the 2010 is IMHO...

So you can't shut off the light on the shifter? Doesn't it shut off when you put the car in Drive?
I'd hate to have a bright light on all night while I was driving.

It's not that bright. In fact, I didn't even notice it until the photos were posted in this thread and I went out and tried it on mine :D

Ok thanks, I will check it out when I get mine (hopefully soon) if it's too bright for dark nightime driving there is always electrical tape. ;)

It's ambient lighting so it's a soft LED light.

It looks bright because of the long shutter speed on the camera, its a very soft light like the others have said...

 All right! That's a beautiful car.... and the solar roof is the icing on the cake! great mpg too!

I have 150 miles on mine but mostly short trips so my MPG read is only 48:fear: I hope for better!

Honestly, I may leave them on for now until I can get a pair of center caps or they break and need to come off. I may actually try to see if I can do a tank or two each way to see if MPG is adversely affected.

    ...getting back to the topic.....

Certain that all you lucky owners are enjoying your new rides. Please remember us slobs still waiting out here. Envious and thirsting for more of your pics - both inside and out.

Some of us in Not-Yet Land are living through you vicariously. More baby pictures please.

Dean, what type of shots are you looking for that the stock photos don't cover?

    Hmm.

The oddball things - like the great LED overhead the shifter that you snapped. And your provocative Blizzard/headlamp closeup shot.

Under car panels / engine, within reason.
    VIN plate on the door
    Both glove boxes open
A good closeup of the roof wind deflector, a few angles.
Good closeup of the HUGE tailight assembly
One with the tonneau cover stored under cargo area
All the warning lights lit in the dashboard (quite anal, but would be interesting)
    The Nav screen opened
Good closeup of the 15"alloy, perhaps on a bit of an angle to show how the spokes splay out.
Even that little nick you put in the side panel...
Perhaps one with all airbags deployed, but that would be asking much.

Have you looked at any of the photos from Detroit? Some of us [ahem] did try to get some of those very shots...

I think the mud guards have always been a dealer accessory.
