Tideland Pearl is my all around favorite color and I'm waiting on a Pckg IV Blizzard PEarl w/SR as well! You'd better be careful to lock your garage!

 

That tideland green pearl was such a pretty color.

All 22 pages and not one big picture of a Winter Grey V..... What's the deal? I'm tired of looking at the silver one on my wallpaper and i don't have mine yet to take my own pics. Please someone post some good size pics for me. I'm having a major fit that my car hasn't come yet. I have my name and deposits in at 3 different dealers and the days just aren't going by fast enough for me. Thanks in advance.

It's a stunning car! The Blizzard is growing on me - a great color for the Prius IMO. How do you like the leather? And off topic, but - the dark mats - I see the light-color stuff dragged in from shoes...that is why I do not like dark mats. Everything shows and I'd rather shampoo the mats every once in a while than shake them out very often. The post from Erica a couple days ago showed 3 different mat colors - sure hope mine comes in the medium bisque as she showed.

HAHAHA, I am surprised too. I will have to clean mine and take some this weekend. I was going to the next day after I got it. But, it rained and I just didn't have the time to do it. Keep an eye out on this tread!

 

Well, I noticed a new voicemail on my phone yesterday, from Jabber. He mentioned that he had some good news and some bad news for me regarding my car. The bad news is that the car would not be here on Friday, or Saturday, as we had been expecting. Instead, the good news was that it arrived Thursday, and was waiting for me! After I recovered from the initial disappointment, I realized what he said, and was excited! The Prius was finally here…

When I got there, they were putting the finishing touches on it, and getting it ready for me. We went over the details, and were in and out of the finance office in about 10 minutes, with a new registration card in hand, and the keys.

The drive home was peaceful, and for my first real drive, I averaged 47.8 MPG. Coming from a Ford Taurus, that is almost exactly a 30 MPG increase, which I am thrilled with. The kids loved the car, and the wife is so far very impressed with it. I will report more, and get more pictures up soon.

I'll take some more pictures. Ironically, the factory mats (which is what I have) for the Bisque Leather/Blizzard color combo (the Blizzard color is BEAUTIFUL in person and I love the new seats) are actually dark for the interior, and bisque for the cargo area. I have no idea why they did the combo that way; I will tell you it does grow on you after awhile from a contrast standpoint (it contrasts nicely from the medium grey headliner) but is a bit bizarre then to suddenly coordinate in the hatch area.

I will post some more shots of the interior...Is there anything in particular you'd like to see? Happy to post...
