It is a lot easier to use car ramps to do an oil change. No center jacks in the way. No need to use safety stands. Just caulk a back wheel. (y)

lol it might be for a while since this Prius is running good. I’m just too lazy to get an alignment since the rear tires has toe wear. :(

It was $10k cheaper than a comparable Tundra. I can fix a lot of stuff for $10k.

they also need a lot of repairs lol... one of my friend works at ford and he tells me all the time that he fixes a lot of broken stuff on ford cars because they don’t last long and fall apart.

    Great videos, Thanks!

My wife has 2010 Lexus HS250H, I've been told that it is very similar to the Prius. Unfortunately, bc it was only made for 3 years, there is not alot of information in the forum or YouTube, etc.

I've used your videos to work on her car before but I was wondering if the video you put out on how to bleed the brakes without scanner/software would translate to work on our HS250h?

Also, the rubber "boot" on one of the front disc brake sub-assemblies has a tear in it. Do you know if that is fixable? What sites have you found useful for ordering parts? Or do I just replace the assembly?

I hope you don't take offense that I'm asking about a Lexus on Prius chat, but we have had 2 Prius's in the past, should have stuck with Prius rather than buying the hs250h. That wasn't my decision :)

If you can get into "invalid mode" for the Lexus, I'm sure it would be the same thing. Lexus is just a luxury brand of Toyota so that's why you see similarities on their cars. As for the boot tear, which part are you referring to? you can post a picture, it'll be easier for everyone to determine if its repairable or replaceable. I usually buy my parts on RockAuto.com, Amazon, and ebay.

If it's caliper glide pin boot it's no big deal. If if it's a caliper piston boot, I'd light my hair on fire. Overreaction?
