Yeah, I just noticed this problem. No file upload. Haven't tried in the media directly, but either inline or command line file upload in the comment are not working.

Has anyone tried from a PC? I'm trying from my phone... maybe it has to do with the mobile device?

What I found in #67 is that the version of file upload I get when JavaScript is enabled won't work. That version tries to post to an endpoint on the server named do-upload.json, which seems not to be there.

The version of file upload I get with JavaScript disabled works fine. (It posts to an endpoint just named do-upload, and that works.) A little bit clunkier to use than the all-singing, all-dancing JavaScript version, but it gets the job done.

Until it's all fixed, try turning JavaScript off for that. Uploading works for me that way.

Test. Safari Advanced JavaScript Off. Files uploaded and Saved but then can’t Edit or make the Tools, Alerts and Profile functions work. Quote button disappears.

    IMG_3728.jpeg
Turning JavaScript back on after saving allows missing functions.

My Samsung doesn't have JavaScript. Guess I'll have to use my computer...

Then install Firefox and its add-on NoScript. While at it, install uBlock Origin. Use Firefox to view YouTube like that and be gone with those annoying YouTube's ads on your mobile.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am trying to see if it works from my Pixel... If you see a photo of gas price, then it worked. But, a lot of the web page functionalies are missing now. Not very usable as a regular browser. I will use it in a pinch if I have to upload a fig as a work around.

EDIT to ADD: I see the attached fig file. So, this work around is working.

If it doesn't have JavaScript, then stuff that only works with JavaScript turned off oughtta work ok.

I actually found the setting for Java Script. I turned it off, and makes things really wacky. Turn it back on and back to normal. I tried to upload either way and still blocks me. I'd send the picture of what the error message looks like, but obviously.....I can't.

Can't use first Upload File after turning off Javascript. Instead use More Options and then Upload File. Try to get back to original reply and have faith the file is there. Post and then turn on Javascript. Refresh screen so buttons work.

A real "reacharound" as Ivan and Eric O would say.

I tried the work around, but it would not let me go backwards after uploading the file. All the files I now try to upload, they will upload, but then gives an error when trying to attach.

When I upload with JavaScript off, what I get is a new tab with the upload page in it; the post I was making is still in the original tab.

When I upload a file. I don't worry about it showing up in the tab with the original post. A link to it shows up on the upload page. I right-click on that and choose Copy Link, then I go back to the tab with my post, and write

    and there it is.

If by "really wacky" you mean uncluttered, crazy fast and snappy, then yeah, that's pretty much why I use PriusChat with JavaScript off a lot of the time. ;)

Mine doesn't open in a sperate tab.

Really wacky, meaning certain menu's don't work and all the icons and letters are on top of each other to the point, some things aren't readable.

Yeah, turning JavaScript off certainly means all the all-singing, all-dancing features like JS-based menus won't work. It only acts like a plain old website then. The letters and icons on top of each other, I don't get. Might be a browser difference.

If the Upload button doesn't make a new tab for you by default, maybe try right-clicking it and using "open link in new tab". Just an ordinary standard browser feature, but a nice thing when JS is turned off is those ordinary standard features generally work.
